If we decide to go do you know anyone that does hair and makeup down there for the pageant? And what type of modeling is it? Even 5 year olds do they do the routines.

crysta dont listen to kacie i took my daughter for the first time last year she was 3 and it was so much fun some mothers do over do it but we followed all the rules which say absolutly no make up and we did everything simple!! and my daughter won first in almost every catagory!! she wor no make up whats so ever and all her pictures in her portfolio we taken by my digital camara no retouch or anything!! i do admit some moms went out and got head shots and all but hey we won!!

You are so right, don't listen to kacie, Tri-Sate in Montana is different then Sunburst nationals, We did have Hair and makeup done for my daughter. Sunburst regionals is about having a lot of fun. Sunburst National is a different story, that is High Glitz, and pageant coaches are suggested. My Daughter was three in the video this was her first real pageant and she took her division. Sunburst is a lot of fun I would absolutely recommend doing it!

you should go!!! its so much fun we are also going to go to montana next year in may my daughters now 4!! you will have so much fun and every one does get a trophy its very fun last year was my first year and i enjoyed it as for hair and makeup every mom just does there own thing i did my daughters very simple and like i said she won 11 trophies she wore her hair down and all i did was tease the top and curl the ends and no make up just a lil lip gloss. u should go!!

How cute.. We are going to state in montana in may 2009 and I am nervouse and excited. i really hope the pageant is fun yet fair and everyone wins. My daughter is 5 and so I am nervouse about taking her. we have done pageants before but never really glitze ones. Can anyone give advice?

sunburst is a extremly glitzy pageant even tho they say its a natural system. you daughter is going to be up against girls with retouched pics pageant coaches and hair and make-up teams. if you don't have a coach look online for pageant coaching dvds and she can learn beauty swim and causal wear rountines from home. i with i would've had all this info the first time we went to sunburst state. we got blown out of the water the first time. use these tips trust me. we got first after using them.

This is a cute video. I remember your kids they are adorable (we were there my DD was #35.) My camera did the same thing it was dark in there. Good Luck to you and yours.
