I have the same tailights on my 05 mustang got them tinted and also have the black trunk panel to go with it so it looks pretty nice. I recommend getting them tinted though they will look a lot better.
Great looking car, but out of curiosity why did you spend the money on the Cold Air Intake when the car comes from the factory with a Cold Air Intake. All you need to do is remove the unsmooth tubing and replace it with smoother tubing to reduce what little turbulence would be created, then remove the silencer. Also why the box around the filter if It's open to the hot engine air? Looks cool don't get me wrong but just curious as to why you went that particular route.

The way I recall it they did the same thing with the 64's as they did with the 2010's they were available in April as a 65 but were considered 64 and a halfs

My friend took the muffler off of his and that's it and it doesn't sound like that, he must have taken off the resonator as well. With no muffler it backfires a little when it's cold, but smooths out when the engine warms up.

1) the bumper looks fine. i know plenty of GT drivers that actually like the V6 bumper with a chin spoiler better than their GT bumper
2) the engine is an 4.0L V6 that actually weighs about 300 pounds less than the 4.6L. Also, the V6 comes with forged internals and a german valve train.
3) Its a t-45 transmission. its what was used on the cobras until 1999 when they switched to the t-3650, and i think a 98 cobra would eat your lunch
Like the headlights, like the CAI a lot, not so sure about the taillights (as has been mentioned ad-nauseum) and IMHO, the car needs a muffler. A high-flow is better than none - the sound has a bit of a 'trash can' sound to it - a low, smooth, mellow tone is a bit more appealing.
Again, just my opinion. I'd look into the Pypes V6 dual setup with the mid-mount mufflers.

What did you do to the rear tail lights? That's kinda ugly if you ask me. I ain't hatin, I'm just sayin. And sorry to tell ya buddy but that is not a cold air intake. That is a RAM AIR. Cold air intakes go into the front quarter panel and is behind the front bumper for maximum air.
that is a cold air intake...what your refering to is a complet cold air intake which routes the filter from either the front bumper, the grill, hood scoop, or front wheel wells which is behind the front FENDER not quarter panel. the quarter panels is toward the rear of the car =)

I mean, I'm sure your car has that cover for the bottom front end of your car so water doesn't get into it right? Plus, I am VERY sure that you'll get maximum air through a complete CAI instead of that. Just a thought.

Wow, this has got to be one of the worst looking mustangs. I could understand this on a civic or something like that, but that just looks like crap. On the top, all the modifications you've done just make the car slower. But, i guess that won't make a difference because people will be stabbing their eyeballs out when they see this car on the road.

the tail lights are gay dude lose em. im likin the projectors though but put a muffler on s197's sound like shit without it. as for the intake i hope its tuned otherwise its just slower.
I got a 05 4.0 with jba headers and full exhaust, throttlebody spacer, c&l intake, and SCT tunner, steeda stut brace. I kick GT ass allday. keep it up man theres always gunna be haters

What did you do to the rear tail lights? That's kinda ugly if you ask me. I ain't hatin, I'm just sayin. And sorry to tell ya buddy but that is not a cold air intake. That is a RAM AIR. Cold air intakes go into the front quarter panel and is behind the front bumper for maximum air.

that is a cold air intake...what your refering to is a complet cold air intake which routes the filter from either the front bumper, the grill, hood scoop, or front wheel wells which is behind the front FENDER not quarter panel. the quarter panels is toward the rear of the car =)

Point taken but to have a partial cold air kinda defeats the purpose of a cold air intake, don't you think? I mean, I'm sure your car has that cover for the bottom front end of your car so water doesn't get into it right? Plus, I am VERY sure that you'll get maximum air through a complete CAI instead of that. Just a thought.

yeah true, but it also depends on the owner (preference) and where you live (chances of hydrolock). so some people stick with partials. though here in cali hydrolock is pretty rare unless your filter fell off or something lol.

well right now i have the body throttle spacer dual exhaust still running straight pipes just got some high permomance spark plug wire and i still have the same cold air but this time i'm running dual intakes. new mods will be heathers posi t lock short shifter chip and nitrous and maybe i'll go with a exhaust system

you have a nice cai setup but why would you get a mustang and put asian tails on. thats not going to get you any respect. should have got a civic then. You'll also get a better sound WITH a muffler like a magnaflow 40.
