FUCK MICROSOFT, I was like 12 or 11 when I first got my x box 360 and I knew NOTHING about online gaming or the xbox marketplace. I couldn't even figure out how to get xbox live so my uncle helped me out and used his Hotmail account seeing as I didn't have one. So now I have to suffer and I can't use facebook twitter netflix or download anything rated M. Kinda sucks seeing as most of the games I play and am interested in are rated M. Still another 3 years till I can change to an adult account :/

its impossible to promote your xbox live account to adult if you entered your real date of birth during account creation and you are still under 18. i tried to sign up for netflix and i cant because im still 16... so if you want to watch movies on netflix like i want to you have to create a whole new account and say that your 18 or older. i even changed my windows live id and said i was 50 but i still cant watch a movie or even download a game demo that is M rated

@Shimcomaru If you've download an M Rated game on an adult account on your Xbox 360, and then you try to play it on a Child account, then it still wouldn't work. You cannot play ANY M rated or R rated content on a Child Account. You can promote your child account to an adult account once your account is old enough.

For Example: If i made my child account in the year 2000, and i was 13, i would have to wait until 2005 to upgrade to an adult account. Unless you lie about your age.
