i have to admit, sawed offs are fun, althoo i dont know if mine counts as one. see my dad bought some prperty ina small town, and in a garage we found an old single shot 12 gauge. no firing pin or foregrip, stock cut to a pistol grip and rusty as hell. but with a little elbow grease, and some spare junk, iv got it in working order again. it is overall 27 inches with a 19 inch barrel, so its one inch longer than ATF limit befor its a SBS. some problems with my homebuilt foregrip coming off thoo

@soverato3 the pros to having a shorter barrel (or sawn off as im assuming your asking) is to conceal your weapon and maneuverability. That being said maneuverability can be found in shorter guns that were designed to be short, many with the action behind the trigger. a SAWN OFF can cause damage if not done right, and you will loose accuracy and in many cases it is VERY illegal to modify your firearm in such a way. why? because 9.5/10 it isnt sawn off for legal purposes

I like the video. But a sawed off shotgun is useless. you mainly defeat the use and accuracy a shotgun. Let me tell you why. If you cut the barrels, the gun won't shoot properly. if you cut the stock, the gun will be difficult to controll. And sometimes sawed off shotguns back-fire on you. It will cause the gun to break itself and it may give you an injury. Never saw off a shotgun. they will be useless against the wild when you are defending yourself.

@SpaardaLT Any state that allows you to own a short barrel shotgun. It's considered a title 2 weapon by the BATFE and there is a bit of paperwork involved along with an extensive background check and a $200 tax but it is legal. Research NFA firearms.

Really good synchronization with the music and good camera angles, also very fitting music. Sucks that the gun itself broke, for some reason it seemed to me as if it had too much back-pressure at the end of barrel.
The practicality of a sawed off 16 gauge is actually pretty subtle. It's easy to conceal and the gauge size doesn't injure you with its kick. Unless you were thinking of robbing a convenience store or storming a freighter, a faster scatter rate won't be much good. But it does look badass.

I disagree you can get more damge from the shot load that you use or the guage. Sawing off a shotgun just makes the shot pattern spread faster but makes it much much more shorter range and i think that that is the last thing you want to do too a shot gun is make it shorter range.People usally saw off a shotgun because they want to consile it in thair jacket or somthing like that.

I disagree you can get more damge from the shot load that you use or the guage. Sawing off a shotgun just makes the shot pattern spread faster but makes it much much more shorter range and i think that that is the last thing you want to do too a shot gun is make it shorter range.People usally saw off a shotgun because they want to consile it in thair jacket or somthing like that.

@skippers96 Ya, but that's the reason people do it. It's easy to hide and like you said it spreads out more. Which is why it's sometimes called a ''room sweeper". It fans out and takes out the entire room. Even though it might not kill everyone it will at least injury them.

you can have a sawed off shotgun if you leave the barrel length a certain distance. or if you have a class-3 weapons license you can have it as short as you want it and you can have assault weapons. but those are reaalllly expensive and kid of hard to get unless you are a model citizen. at least thats what the laws are i my state
