    & V1 820 & .68 ?

    or the bass setup

    v1 820 220mfd ?

    Thanks

  • Beautiful Tone and cool playing Andy...but is that a Japanese or USA Strat ?

If i don't go wrong Reissue is CIJ , while 1966 USA version is Custom Shop only.

  • Hey man! Sorry for the late reply! Didn't get the tube mail-

Any hows..this is a USA Custom shop model. I have played CIJ's that rocked too. Good Luck, and let me know what you find.

  • Love that tone Andy, you could listen to that without the picture and know straight away it's a strat. As for Jimi, he was the genius that showed us all what could be done with a guitar, then sadly left us all to get on with it ourselves.

  • Beautiful playing Andy - just tasteful guitar at it's best! Love the pic of Jimi!

  • Thanks man!

And Yes, the Jimi pic is pretty cool...we need to thank my wife for that. She's the best.

  • Hey,great tone!

  • Thanks a lot!

  • This is one of the most character bluesy strat tone I've ever heard...

Buddy could you tell what the bass tone stack is?

I will buy 50 watt plexi clone from either metroamp or ceriatone...You say this is the Lead version but doesn't it sound closer to a Plexi Bass????

    Thanks...

  • Hey man..sorry for the late reply. I'm an idiot.

The 1986 Bass head has more headroom. Won't distort as quickly as the Guitar head. Fuzz pedals sound better in front of it.

Hope this helps, and good luck!

  • great playing but I think you would have a better tone if you used a pick that isn't as thick as the one in this video

  • I cut that video using a 3mm heavy pick. Heaviest you can buy off the shelf

BUT, as of late, I've been fooling with medium gague picks. Gives you more spank...so GOOD EARS!!!

    Thanks!

  • That was a great demo, well done!

  • Thank you very much!!!

  • Great tone ! You rock !

  • i think its good, i love the tone you're getting with the strat!

  • Thanks Man!

  • yo they should call it wank television in your honor. u inspire me to take a dump

  • Thanks. I hope its a good dump.

  • Thanks Ace!

Thats a delay pedal at the end. A little echo don't hurt nobody.
