If you look up "The Sal Giunta Story", the people who made the great documentary Restrepo also did a piece for Sal Giunta. It's a great video, and even though it only consists of interviews, it is very engaging.

I saw that, very good. One of the reasons the filmmakers went straight on to that story was because Sal was in the same outfit as the platoon featured in Restrepo. Just a different Platoon.

OMG yes yes yes this is a great video for all except for the annoying commercial text message in too large a font. Which is not okay. Reminds me of some of those smoking hot Internet adult porn clips that are rendered ice cold thanks to similar annoying text messages that distract the viewer. A little bit of Giunta's glory is stolen in this video hopefully someone will come along & post the exact same video without the annoying text message. They couldve had both on at the same time so both couldve spit in Giuntas face like the hippies did 2 the tired & wounded soldiers in the 70's Penn owes his career to neopotism. The golden spoon was served 2 him on a platter. Giunta is a self made man, worked for peanuts at a sandwhich shop HUGE difference between a Giunta & them. Giunta is a real man. Penn & Vedder are just men.

Great subject matter.

Bad / rotten video.

The uploader (srce44) should have edited out the commercial text message. For many reasons. One of many is that many people copy videos to their hard drive for safekeeping. Total thumbs down on this video.

Keep commercial messages off of videos like this one especially videos that show Mr. Giunta. This video is desecrated thanks to the obnoxious commercial message.

I agree. Ya know....the uploader or the advertiser could have ran their crass commercial message for  a few seconds at the end of the video. Or at the beginning of it. That would have been acceptable. But to run it for the entire video from beginning to end is a slap in the face to all things good.
