Relatively speaking this was a job well done compared to other movies from Pakistani movie industry.....but the story kinda lost it's impact at the end with the trial scene... and I was really disappointed to know that the person who made this movie had a personal agenda against Junaid Jumshed for leaving music industry... and that's why he portrayed Muslims who refrain from music are "extremist" in a way....sad

Bulleh Shah himself was declared a 'Kafir' and when he died -around 1757- his body was thrown out of his city-Kasur- ,on a heap of garbage. he was not cosidered worthy of a muslim burial. This is the true face of a religion-like all other religions-, disguised as tolerant and presented as such by its more naive and ill-informed followers.

@MadeinTaiwan100 So many things wrong with this comment. For starters, Bulleh Shah has a tomb outside Kasur. I am assuming it was not built on garbage. Sufism was big in 1600-1700 in this area, and Sufis were not considered 'Kafir' of any sorts. Bulleh Shah does call HIMSELF kafir, often in his own poetry. Thats however, a sufist approach.

Lol, to comment on all you having problems with something, mostly yourself ;) It's every religion that creates problems, we are divided my brothers & sisters.., dont you get a clear shot!? Relatively speaking this was a job well done compared to other movies from Pakistani movie industry.....but the story kinda lost it's impact at the end with the trial scene... and I was really disappointed to know that the person who made this movie had a personal agenda against Junaid Jumshed for leaving music industry... and that's why he portrayed Muslims who refrain from music are "extremist" in a way....sad

It is stupid asumptions like these that lead muslims to hate and other discriminate against non-muslims...just recently in pakistan there were bombings of minority Ahmedi mosques...their crime, to believe in the teachings of prophets who came after mohamed...they still read koran and namaz and everything (obviously non-muslims also have misconceptions abut islam which leads to this problem, im not denying that)

Non-Muslims are afraid of Islam as they know its the true religion, they know if the world knows the teachings of Islam all human will convert to Islam, so they keep misleading people about Islam. According to Islam all are equal, whether man or woman, Syed or non-Syed, rich or poor, its only the deeds that matter, its only the deeds that make us good or bad. Islam never says to harm anyone, Islam is the religion of kindness and good.
