As long as you don't have a fever, and there is no reddening around the swollen area it should go away with time. Sleeping with your lower leg elevated may help.

Fuck man. I know how that goes. I had surgery on my knee too. Nothing like taking a shower and realizing your left left has half the mass of your right.
