@polarbear959 i think that throttle body, "efi", is over rated. i much prefore the 08 anyday, faster, more power and much cheaper to fix when you melt down the motor due to to may electronics
yes but the weight comparison of a ktm 520 505 or 525 is only a coupple of pounds if that compared to the same modle 450 not to metion the gain in power plus the larger diplacement bikes have a smoother powerband not as agressive as the 450's
dispite the fact the 520 weighs as much as a 450. The truth is the 520 will always feel heavier. The 520 produces a tons of more torque than a 450 and torque actually makes a bike feel heavier. hell the ktm 400's weigh as much as the 450 and 520 but ppl love em cause they "feel light". I personally ride a 520 and im getting a 450 then a 505=). O and a little fact the 520/525/530 has only a few more horses than the 450 its the torque that changes from the bikes mostly
This is a fast track, but in normal conditions are the MX1 the most competitive bikes. The major displacement's bikes will be to much weightly. You can discover that more if you compare the 450 with something like a 990. This last one has got enough weight and torque to be more competitive in a light offroad, like great grass's plans, desert race and co, but on the medium motocross circuit, mule's roads and co., the 450s and the 250s 2strokes has got much to tell.

KTMs are good bikes my dad use to have a 1992 300 and when he raced it the thing would beat the big 500s off the line.
