Same here. Can't wait for that CD. I followed Kevin through the whole show and his performances were all great! Raw and right from the heart. I love the reaction from the crowd before he starts singing and how they didn't expect much from him. Then, when he starts to sing there is total silence. Love it!!

honestly i didn't know about this guy until today and i had the tv on mute the whole time so i didn't hear anything from the last episode but i youtube'd him and this is the first video i saw, i didn't know what to expect, i thought he would be maybe not bad but definetely not anything like what he turned out to be.this guy sings really freakin' good, he's got country and some cat stevens type quietness to him and it just sounds really good. I can see why he won and why peter said he'd win early

This guy not only has a great country voice, but has a .talent unlike many others who come out with glittery costumes and full make-up. He's a simple man w/ a heart of gold and one who is not afraid to show his emotions and I applaud him for that. I watched this performance 06/30/09 for the first time. I was in tears by the time he was finished and I don't even like country music. Kevin has a geninue appealing quality about him as Mrs. Osborne mentioned. My vote is for Kevin Skinner!

Susan Boyle prompted the audience to start cheering while she sang. Kevin just struck this audience dumb. I wonder how many Ipod bubblegummers in the audience heard that song for the first time? While no one wants to be proven wrong, Kevin just created a paradigm shift for many. I expect as they learn this is a relatively old song in the genre, they will look for more like it, and C&W will be gain some new fans. Thanks, Kevin, for your talent and the boost for the genre.
I still remember when I saw this on TV the first time, and it sent a chill down my neck. This is the first audition I remember seeing where the crowd did not cheer or boo, or make any noise at all, and that because they were all deep in the love and emotion he was giving off. A truly incredible story and incredible talent. Very authentic and genuine as Sharon said, and I hope to God he wins.

This guy not only has a great country voice, but has a .talent unlike many others who come out with glittery costumes and full make-up. He's a simple man w/ a heart of gold and one who is not afraid to show his emotions and I applaud him for that. I watched this performance 06/30/09 for the first time. I was in tears by the time he was finished and I don't even like country music. Kevin has a geninue appealing quality about him as Mrs. Osborne mentioned. My vote is for Kevin Skinner!

Susan Boyle prompted the audience to start cheering while she sang. Kevin just struck this audience dumb. I wonder how many Ipod bubblegummers in the audience heard that song for the first time? While no one wants to be proven wrong, Kevin just created a paradigm shift for many. I expect as they learn this is a relatively old song in the genre, they will look for more like it, and C&W will be gain some new fans. Thanks, Kevin, for your talent and the boost for the genre.

I still remember when I saw this on TV the first time, and it sent a chill down my neck. This is the first audition I remember seeing where the crowd did not cheer or boo, or make any noise at all, and that because they were all deep in the love and emotion he was giving off. A truly incredible story and incredible talent. Very authentic and genuine as Sharon said, and I hope to God he wins.

My prayer is that some big star comes along side of Kevin and guides him. This guy has a voice that stops all criticism. We witnessed this in the video.
