Thanks for the thoughtful question. I would say that spirit and soul are different...that spirit infuses and informs soul. I think of Soul as a more essential and lasting form of our physical body, or vehicle...whereas Spirit is the patterns, the tendencies that move us. Nothing is fixed, all evolves.

Pneuma is the Greek word for wind, and is used to convey the idea of spirit. Whereas orgone, I understand, was Wilhelm Reich's idea of a sort of substance that was associated with vital energy, so pneuma would be the carrier of orgone.

Glad to hear you share my obsession with applicability. I probably should have mentioned pneumatic machines (which we are too naturally) though for most people pneumatics evokes automotive applications (which again, we are too.)
