On his blog he mentions that he uses alot of session muso's for his shows so that being the case the BAND would only get a few weeks to learn songs and rehearse so it would be hard to develop the chemistry I think your looking for champ.
This guys got some pretty sick songs, but I feel like it's too focused on him, and not the band, I'm not sure if it's just me but bands, should be based around everyone in the band, everyone writting music, but here it's seems more a solo thing then a band.

Because the words he sings aren't about loving shawty's ass and rubbin' it up on him while he pops bottles all night in da club.
