You have to admit: there's no way to those low-budget garage studios to compete against a 60 million sim like GT5 or Forza 4... made with professional support from the car manufactures, realist graphics, real tested cars (not wikipedia based specs).

People don't know about realism and physics... most don't even have a real car...

Those PC sims were good 7~10 years ago, the cars sometimes look like hovercrafts floating on a river, sometimes flying... it's so damn terrible.

The tracks are a crap too, nerd-user made shit reproductions (specially in rFactor). Oh! iRacing have laser-scanned real tracks...bullshit... even forza 1 and gt3 had laser-scanned tracks... this is no more new, it's basic.

if you want to go real, buy GTL and GTR2 and get yourself a G25 and the Power&Glory-mod, made by the GTL Workshop and Simbin...

it's really a thrill you get with this combo ^^ drive an AC Cobra in GTL or the P&G-mod and you know what i'm talking about ;)

if you want to have it even more realistic, i think you will most likely spend many 1000's for a real race-car and a race-licence

Such a shame that it has the worse force feedback system of any title. rfactor is older and light years better. rfactor give far more 'feel' for what the car is doing.. I'd say GTR evo gives mario kart style feedback but even mario kart feedback is better..

if you mean gt4... i saw lots of vids call it the fake driving simulator... you shoud search those... and if you mean gt5... i saw a "drift king" with a vette in suzuka... when he put the wheel on the grass in drifting... the car isnt afected... and that is strange. asphalt and grass are different.. in rfactor. you touch the grass. you spin out.

in the midle of the drift. but. to star it is exelent. in gtr evo the handling of the caterham are strange. very easy to recover in the countersteer.

amazing... looks the same... even the trees.... look at. 0:41 at the trees of the far left... are almost the same... lolz... yes... gtr evo ar far best than nfs, grid and other "arcade driving" games... but gtr evo have some glitchs in phisics that makes you find another sim... like rfactor... wich have less of those but it have no good graphics as this game... but i prefer better phisics... if not i shoud play nfs... lolz

you should play gran turismo. Then you have good physics and amazing graphics. NFS is very unrealistic and the graphics are not as good as in GT. :-)

The best simulator? You have to be kidding me. Amongst simulaters (Iracing, GTR1 and 2, Rfactor. Live for speed etc etc) Race 07 and EVO are at the ROCK BUTTOM when it comes to realism. Nice graphics yes, But who gives a rats ass about that anyway in a SIM? Its physics all the way mister ;)

I sold RacePro after I found out there was no Nurburgring. It was just too much of a disappointment for me to handle, haha. Just play Forza 2/3 instead if you want to race on the Nurburgring. The track is fairly accurate, and the physics are top notch. It feels quite different than RacePro (in a good way IMO), but its still pretty much the closest thing to driving on the 'Ring without actually going out there yourselfl.

In a way i can understand you Nefus2. but thats the thing..this is almost reality, maybe too deep for some (even though its also very easy to just race without do all you said..but maybe you dont keep up with the pros and thier setups hehe..but til you get really good you can race for yourself too). Anyway I dont get why game developers don't make a comparison like this on each game that is being developed just to make it more realistic ; for instance , here: it should be added more brightness and be more desaturized .

I've bought this game and i can't drive the cars properly, UNDERSTEER, understeer, more f*****n understeer... And then... Snap oversteer which I can't correct...?

What can i do, besides, is there a way i can get a map up when i race, so i don't have to learn all the courses?

Just buy a wheel and learn how to drive in reality... This game is a simulator, it isn't like GRID or NFS, so in this game is very hard to learn how to drive, just like a real car...

i have the game, and for now i only have a mouse and keyboard for the game, but i dont know if i can tell you anything about your understeer/oversteer problem. maybe look at your abs, stability, and traction control, but look at the sensitivity of your steering, braking, and throttle which could play a large difference. for the map, the default key is to press "5" but you can also look it up in controls.

I was spinning out all over the place on full sim, I am using keyboard mouse because I have no money for the wheel as of yet so I just play on semi pro which is doable with keyboard and mouse, for me. Is it impossible to race full sim without the wheel or just not recommended?

it is pretty much impossible, because one tap on the keyboard, will make you spin out in every turn, the key to racing with full sim is to be smooth, and you can't do that with a keyboard. you should try and buy a cheap steering wheel and feel the difference

also ive had some succes lately with a microsoft joystick. I forget the name of the axis but i steer with the one you would use to 'yaw' in a fighter game. (turning the joystick handle, not pulling it.) worked out ok. I also got good with a combo mouse steering and using the joy just for throttle. Using the joystick has enabled me to play for the first time without any driving aids, and man it feels good :)

get a wheel. there is no point on playing this game with a keyboard. there can be maaany reasons for undrsteer and oversteer... most common is that you brake on the turn-in, or you use throttle before apex. Oversteer is mostly coused by too much throttle on the exit, or depends on the setting it can be coused by being to hard on the steering, or even on some brake setups in can be coused by braking... and then there is the suspension and tires issue... maaaaany reasons...

Auch das Karussel passt...einzig das Texturing der Bodenplatten und die nicht realistische generelle Botanik verfremdet ein bisschen den Allerletzten IllusionsFatktor!

 Insbesondere im Hatzenbach..oben rechts diese hohe Baumgruppe fehlt ir persönlich am Meisten..Sie ist ein Wiedererkennungsmerkmal der Schleife..hier fehlt ein wesentlicher Identifikationsfaktor um der Illusion gerecht zu werden.

3D technisch ist Sie 99,9% perfekt gemodelt.
