Wow people put alcohol in it, they restore it, they even open the iphone up inside and replace the home button. All I gotta do is to lift it up a bit and press it. Simple! Thank you!!

thanks man, i was having a bigger issue, my home button was fully depressed and was dialling the voice control all the time, this fixed it.

by the way if you dont have a jailbroken phone you can use the accessibility feature to get a fake home button. Go to general/accessibility and turn on assistive touch.

Perfect this worked for me. There is also a way to reset the sensitivity of the home button but this worked for me- thanks a lot

Awesome, This seems to have sorted mine out too.

I did a full factory reset and set up as a new device last night and all seemed ok for a short while. Lets hope that this one lasts a little longer. Many thanks again
