very touching video that we can relate to as we also have a son with asperger's and epilepsy. thank you for you wonderful video and your beautiful song and powerful message!
@katmoneymum Thanks so much for the feedback. I watch my youngest grow up with a sense of understanding about his brother and others that I did not feel until much later in life. The gifts are many and strong and you can't help but feel blessed.
Cheer up people, Autism is a gift not a curse, I would never want to be normal, no offense but normal people are incredibly stupid. The only thing I wish is that more people where autistic so I could make friends.
i admire your way of thinking. keep it up! my son has autism and i see the autism as een extra gift. he is wonderfull. he is all that and more. he made me stand diffrent in the world.
I love this song it is buetyful you should write some more autism songs and maybe make a few CDs. Can I find this song on Itunes I woluld love to have this on my Ipod
both of my children are autistic. I found out my oldest has PDD-NOS *high functioning autism* when she was 3 because she wasn't acting like a normal 3 year old and my youngest child is 18 months old he was dxed with low function autism. I thank God for my children. He blessed me with blessings in disguise. they keep me on my toes but i would never give these two glorious children up for anything..
people are not autistic. they have autism. they are people and kids in the first place. that happen to have autism.they are so much more. if you say autistic people tend to forget that they are also sweet wonderfull smart lovable and so on
I always think about my youngest child and how she will probably need to help my Autistic son when I'm no longer around and this song I will play for her the day she realizes he needs her help.
Mark, I too have been writing and singing songs for autism awareness. I have Aspergers Syndrome. I have just finished my second song, "A Colorful Group of People, on the spectrum here we live." I have also written many in songs for healthcare crisis awareness.
I can't believe I missed this, I keep playing Shine. My Ryan has a younger brother, who is 4. They aren't that close at this point. I don't press the issue, it'll happen eventually. Patrick isn't Autistic, and will understand someday. I love them for what they are and I'm grateful I have them:)

@ The Thoughtful Cloud - I agree completely! It's a gift--and normal people can be really stupid. Maybe that's why we're here. :)
