Its funny there are people who make arguments that WWE/F attitude era was the best and even better than the 80's and early 90's era. Rick Rude promos are the pinnacle of attitude without dropping expletives and showing tits and ass. Nothing against the controversy and promos of the attitude era, but the kind of promo cutting from mid card emperors like Freddie Mercury of wrestling (along with Heenan shenanigans) is a pretty high standard.

Brother Love was a class act. So were his guests Brother Bobby Heenan and Brother Ravishing Rick Rude. I enjoyed how Brother Love congradulate him for his winning the Super Pose-Down event. Brother Rude said he would defeat the Warrior, and that is what he did at WM5!

I totally admired Brother Rude! He said he would defeat the Warrior, and that is exactly what he did. I also enjoyed how Brother Love smiled when Brother Rude said he would become the new IC Champ. Warrior did get pinned.

@2strong2cool, it was not worth mentioning. Did anyone with any sense of logic actually believe Bobby could freeze the Warrior's entire upper body by grabbing his ankle/foot? How completely laughable. How could that make Warrior unable to move his UPPER body? The Warrior was out of breath and too tired to do much any longer. He was defeated by a better wrestler, and he was too much of a poor sport to accept it. Therefore, he had to chase Rude to the lockers. Still, it made for a fun show.

@2strong2cool, it is true that Warrior has the better record. I never denied his credit where it was due. The fellow was a powerhouse, no doubt. However, he was pinned clean by Brother Rude. Bobby did not "freeze" his entire upper body by grabbing his leg.

@sandinyourshoes the ONLY time Rude beat Warrior in their countless battles was when Heenan held Warriors legs down. Watch a wrestler kick out of a pin. All the power comes from the legs. Its a momentum thing. To say he beat him "cleanly" shows shocking bias! Warrior was the only wrestler in history who was NEVER cleanly beaten. Even Hogan and the Undertaker have been cleanly pinned

@2strong2cool, if Hogan had grabbed his leg, then maybe I might have accepted another outcome, but Bobby? Bobby? It seemed laughable. Maybe Warrior paid him to do that so that his defeat would not look clean? Worst of all, Ultimate had to be a poor sport and chase Rude to the lockers.

Actually, Andre PINNED Warrior clean in Italy in 1988 with a sit-down splash. Therefore, Warrior was defeated "without excuses." I was super happy Andre beat him, but the video has been removed.
