  • I love this song, but that performance is God Awful! So tragically sad.

  • these girls CAN sing...shiiit yall get up there as freshies tryna sing, dance and all.

  • man total was one of the many talented voices of the 90's..i'd love to see them regroup;each member had their OWN thing to add to the group. now pam, pam was cool-literally crazysexycool.

  • theyre vocals were bad. if they were contestants, they would have gotten booed off.

  • okay so i'll be the first to say it...was Pam gay?..im jus sayin i always got that vibe ..and no I'm not gay bashing jes wanna know..

  • who was she singing too backstage? and the other girl looked.(diddy maybe????) feedback please

  • So the word is Diddy fucked them over? What did Diddy fucked over all the R&B groups back in the 90s

  • I also liked Kima the best, it seemed like she was always behind Pam and Kiesha, i miss this group.

  • Please leav the glasses on smh

  • pam's stage presence is crazy lol she be mad hype

  • This song & Kissing U are tied. Remember when this song came out. It was everywhere! & all the ladies had voices.

  • how does diddy know everybody wants to say "hooooooo" and "owwwwwww" smh

  • tired of the producer being....all in the videos?

    come to deathrow!

  • @neptuneniq haahahahahahahahahaa

  • @neptuneniq exactly what popped in my mind when the vid started lol

  • Pam look butch as hell. lmao...and fuck Diddy gay lame ass

  • There was a version I used to spin on wax, where toward the end she'd do this long "ohhhhhhhh, oh yeah, baby what you're doing to me" anyone have that version?

  • alright.

  • When this came out, this was THE FUCKIN' SONG!!! To this day, I can't remember a r&b hit song that was as big as this, especially in NYC.

  • I love this song...but...they very weak singers. I thought it was something wrong with me until I scrolled down n read that others didnt like this performance. I think their beat melodies, n female swag made them successful, not necessarily their vocal ability.

  • Boss tune

  • Kima reminds me of Aaliyah. similar body types, long hair, and both had a quiet presence.

  • I saw this! I remember when this came on tv waaaaayyy back then.

  • TOTAL IS THE BEST !!!! REAL TALK ! BACK IN THE DAY MUSIC IS SWEETER THAN THESE MUSIC TODAY FARREAL

  • KIMA SOUNDS SO MUCH BETTER THEN KEISHA AND PAM. SHE SHOULD OF SUNG LEAD ON EVERY TOTAL SONG FOR REAL LOL. AT LEAST SHE SOUND SHALF WAY DECENT LIVE.

  • THIS SONG WAS HELLA BOMB..STILL IS..BUT NOT LIVE

  • Pam = 90's Fantasia....or Fantasia = 2000's Pam

  • this was when girl groups were popular

  • Kiesha was sounding drunk!lolol

  • love this song and group but these chicks can't sing...

  • @Machelle3200 yeah yo hey came to Baltimore back in 97' and all over the radio stations the dj's and callers were saying how much of a hot mess they sounded in person and how they got booed off the stage down at The Baltimore Convention Center. But still think Keisha is as fine as all outdoors though.

  • no other music form is more raw than black music....none.

  • i loved total . they should ;;ip sync though ooh live they are terrible.

  • At time 3:00 I know the females hate on her because she has no stomach...lol

  • he needed them to help them sing cause they damn sure couldn't lol

  • I really liked this song until this performance! It's amazing that their live vocal performance ruined this song for me!

  • THEY SOUND JUST LIKE THE CD TO ME.......

  • Like I say on all of total's videos Kima was the best live, and should of been given more leads.

  • Damn no good but Puffy hyped up so I'm cool with that lol

  • awful

  • I didn't realize they couldn't "really" sing........yikes......I mean, its good for that radio sound...but vocalist they are not.....I still love them tho

  • @Phyre702 at least they sang live lol

  • I admire Puffy for this.... fantastic A&R, producer, artist.... and he's still goin strong... go on Puff!!!!!

  • Omar Epps married her?....I think?

  • PAm looks so much like a boy

  • this is one of my favorite song that ever played in the music world! TOTAL is a very hot group!

  • WOW I MISS THIS GROUP SO MUCH

  • They sound good 2gether. 1 of my favorite 90's group. Hell & now

  • PAM REMINDS ME OF FANTASIA!

  • Diddy took `pams whole style

  • Wow... I am a DJ from LA myself, and i love rocking this song and others like it at clubs and parties. Believe it or not but the honeys still go crazy for it. 15 years later. Young peeps come up to me like wow who is that. This is for the real Hip Hop and R&B heads. Music is not produced like this anymore. Keep these james alive please. Peace. DJ Erock

  • That dance was so thorough

  • @shesodior its was thorough,,,,,,,you a NYC'er

  • @yungsandifer I'm From Boston but I Love New York

  • kima sounds the best!!

  • this was a the worst

  • Pam creepin in the back from 0:49-0:51 is hilarious...lol

    God Bless

  • God,i love that song.90's forever.

  • Kima is so fine!

  • I agree Kema sound the best. Pam & Kesha sound a hot ass mess. I've always wondered about Pam's sexuality too. I seen her checking Kesha out. lol But P. Shitty did ALL his artist bogus. Music has truly changed for the worst now a days. I miss older music! :(

  • haha the way ppl used to dress

  • um...they don't sound too hot...

  • I remember this song when I was in seventh grade.

  • no.. they couldnt sing.. BUT they made MEGA R&B CLASSIC HIT!

  • @RAWKEE You're right but if you listen there harmony is so on point that its crazy. You have to agree

  • I agree with some other people. Kima was the best singer!

  • Kima was the best. Kiesha, & Pam was to much focused on each other. But these girls were hot as far as the group goes. The sound was good for those days. Though out all that. I'd love to see these girls regroup real soon....REAL FUCKIN TALK. Cause today's bullshit sound so shitty. Fuck Lil Wayne & all the rest of these fuck-ups..

  • its easier to sing now because the computer does most of the work. If Kanye and make an rnb song than you know music is garbage now of days. Auto tune automatically makes your voice on key. I have used it for artists who cant quite hold a note. total held it down for the 90's and they did it with their own voice no autotune

  • @bobsoulfull1

    Yep Yep

  • @DontFlatterUrselfSon i dont think they were focusing too much on themselfves, but totally agree with everything else

  • lol they suck but like this song lol

  • Pam was swagged out back in the day

  • I know, Right!

  • @changs2006 she married Omar Epps from House M.D.

  • @changs2006 lol she had swagga before there was even swagga

  • 90s was the shitttttttttttttt

  • Kima should of sung alot more leads! She has the best voice in the group by far! Sorry she doesn't act all sexual like Keisha and Pam do, especially towards each other lol

  • This is awful!! They couldn't sing.

  • Damn they sound awful!!!

  • the one singing the first verse is married to omar epps now and shes cute too no homo

  • wow i used to like total but they live show could use some work and to think how hard puffy buck teeth ass tried to be hard on the girls on making the band a damn shame lol

  • Do you have Total perform What About Us live with Missy Elliott on Keenan Ivory Wayans talk show. Someone did posted it but You Tube shut it down.

  • this was my group back in the days!!!

  • Pam got the most swag!!!!! Too bad she isnt doing music anymore!!!! She goes to a church in rahway new jersey

  • Wow, great memories..

LOL @ how all r&b chicks in the mid 90's had the same way of singing "togetherrrrr".

  • Kima sounded good but Keisha and Pam sounded coarse.

  • After looking at this...Kima is the best SINGER out the group

  • i like the way they performing this song

  • they look like lesbo's

  • Do you remember this....this was the best group of all time

  • i like dis song, but they kinda sound better in the studio.

  • Total may not have been En Vogue but when they got with Missy Elliott who also is a good with vocal arrangement their sound got better but we didn't get to see their full potential I think Total with the right producers and sound would have blown up for real maybe not like TLC or Destiny's Child but I think they would have been around alot longer alot of Bad Boy's earlier artists outside of Biggie were never developed to their full potential

  • i heard puffy only care about money that why

  • yea Puffy truly loved the dough lol

  • Total had good harmonies but seperately they needed work their 2nd album Kima Keisha and Pam the vocals were better because they stayed within their ranges they were like Mary when she came out no vocal coaching [although Mary was/is a powerhouse but at times off key/not in right tone] and was just singing the songs thhow Puffy and other producers told them too once everybody got a vocal coach their vocals were better placed and the songs they sung got better and better as they went along

  • I think they just needed a really good vocal coach and I think Puffy was there to hype up the crowd to get them into the performance..........

  • They really couldn't sing, but this use to bump through some speakers and sound good as hell.

  • i miss them! Bring bacc madd memories!

  • i will love to see them again

  • Pam at :55 kills me every time!

  • luv dis song they need to cum bck luv da 90s era

  • Diddy is such a pimp! he was n still is pimpn tht label of his...but shout out 2 the gd music from the 90s anyway:)

  • We gotta give praise to the late great James Brown who originally produced this beat. Its from his song and Diddy sampled it for Total's album.

  • ok, whats good with the sound?

  • they some G's let me catch a bad brownskin walking down the street frames and a leather trench...I gotta say something baby

  • Just wasnt good live but cd's was the shit!!

  • Total was the shit, had really great music, they shit was so diff!!!

  • i miss live perormances like this

  • Regardless of Diddy being CEO he was a hypeman, especially for Biggie!!! Thats what he did and everybody loved it yea he was the founder of BAD BOY he loved to get the crowd hype even till this day!! He just recently said it on his new show that he misses dancing all around and getting the crowd hype!!!! He handled his bizz when he had to but he was a fucking hypeman when he had to be

  • they sound just like the damn record--that's their style--they don't sound bad.

  • damn them girl sound bad

  • they dont sound that good only when they all sing at the same time!! ughh

  • puffy is a business man and if that means hyping up his group then by all means no different the advertising with flyers and radio and tv spots. He saying look in this direction and stay looking in this direction.

  • Puffy is just a bad CEO he hogs all the money from his artists and charges his own groups to even appear on thier tour/albums. No wonder he cant sign any one reputable but youngsters dying to make it in the music game. Puffy will never get any respect from me as long as he treats ppl the way he does. No one likes him, his last album really explaines itself.

  • Puff is an amazing business man, and the numbers (read:money) speak for themselves.

  • puffff dady tu déchir tu chante trop bien toi et notorious big vous etes des rois!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Oh man having Notorious here rapping would have been sick!!! He should have been, he was still alive when this song came out.

  • Kima was always my favorite cause of her hair though but they never let her sing ad libs, even on the cd version of this song, its all of them singing the part Kima sung live.

  • She was my fav person 2 I loved her she was the best.

She sounded better then both of them to me!!!

  • diddy is a dam dream killer!

  • the first singer is married to Omar Epps now they have two kids

  • i miss the 90''s

  • damn misterhyla you just like me i thought i was the only one leather is sexy on a woman like kima the one with long hair

  • Wish Total was still around.

  • I think these young sisters did a fine job, and they look damn fine in all that black leather. ain't nothing more sexier than a sister in leather

  • @misterhyla that is funny as shiznit

  • New York had the best style back in the 90's

    the cool slow swag

  • These girls could never really sing live but I still loved their music! Big Tune!

  • puffy is the ceo and a hypeman but him being in the videos was a good idea cause it was different

  • Its funny that I always thought Kima was like the worst vocalist, but in this performance (vocally) she KILLS Pam and Keisha. She was the only one that sounded in-key here. Thats a huge surprise, either way the TRUE Bad Girls rite hurr

  • Lol the first one sounds horrible

  • Total were not the best singers ..but they put out some hits that you could grove to so we gave them a pass back in da day LOL

  • I agree.

  • Good song...garbage record label...if 2pac were still around, the game would be completely different. This song is like "Whoa" in how a good song can rise like a rose from concrete from that cancer to hip-hop's stomach-turning record label. Sample some more Puff.

  • Well let's just say Puffy was a hypeman who turned himself into a CEO! He worked hard, although I think the reason he was stage so much with them was to show them how to work up a crowd, cause let's be real, Total, Biggie,Faith Evans, etc... when they first started they sucked on stage!(But I oved their music though)!

  • Puff never was a hypeman, he was and still is the founder & CEO of Bad Boy. He was a executive at Uptown before he founded Bad Boy in 1994.

  • I was commenting on the comments below and they were all disputing on what puff's position was! I think he's a brilliant man, there is nothing wrong with being a hypeman....Although that's not all he was! I understand he was their boss, but on stage, he sometimes was the person who livened up the stage before the artist came out, which is what a hypeman does! As I listed above,he is/was also a teacher, teaching them how to entertain and be interesting artist!

  • Adding to that that is what a boss does, he teaches!

  • Puffy was a hypeman bro. Just face it.

  • No he wasn't, he was and still is a CEO

  • Hypeman turned CEO. He was a hype man with Biggie. And he is a hype man with DAY26!!

  • Brah, I got facts and you don't! He was never a hypeman, he was an intern-turned President at Uptown Records. When he got fired, he founded Bad Boy and he became a CEO of the label.

  • Diddy was never a hype man.... Diddy is a business man to the fullest. Total were on his record label. I'll say again HIS record label, that's quite the hype man if you ask me...

  • Well I don't think that their the "voices" of the group. Maybe Pam but Keisha no! They just got to sing more than Kima because their voices were more similar to each other, and they are more suited for that type of music. However, that being said Kima always sings the best live, then Pam, and then Keisha. Those are the facts, and this performance proves that. You can't say that keisha outshined Kima on this one. Come on now lets be honest lol.Plus, Kima has the most vocal power compared to Pam

  • daum, i never noticed how bad they really sound. thats some bad singing. lol. but i was the biggest fan! who cares bout the singing....lol

  • look @ pam....looking like she should be fighting mr smith in the matrix!! LOL

this performance is not very good...maybe it was nerves.....these chicks were my girls back the day!!!

  • puffy stay being a hype man lmao

  • What are you talking about? Diddy was never a hype man, he was and still is the founder & CEO of Bad Boy. He was just helping them out. BTW, he was their bosses

  • like i said hype man! tellin the crowd say "ho"

shit steve harvey said it right when i go to a concert i dont wanna work lol i wanna sit my ass down and watch u say "Ho"

  • WTF does that supposed to mean?

  • if i gotta spend my time explaining this shit you must not know much bout music

and since you spend so much time on yutube look up somemore videos and educate your self

    youve been dissmised :)

  • Bruh, All I was saying he is not a hype man because he is a CEO of a label. Are you a psychic? You don't know how much time I spend on the net, so kick rocks.

  • look at all the of bigges or totals or any other bad boy artist performs during the 90 puffy stay in the back ground doing his two step stayin everybody scream like i said HYPE FUCKING MAN "BRUH" LOL

  • Diddy was not a hype man, he was their boss. Diddy was the first producer to talk on records, he setted a trend for upcoming producers like Tim & JD.

  • They can't sing live. Stop being so emotional and listen properly!??

  • That was a FANTASTIC PERFORMANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!! "HOT"96

  • wtf? u hear dem notes....lol. but this was my shit though

  • they don't sound that good live oh my god.

  • lol listenin 2 this makes u luv ya chick :P

  • the 90s was the shit

  • u are so right..damn i miss it sometimes

  • black leather and shades. cool.

  • Diddies no talent having ass is always hugging the limelight!

  • LMAO!!! u took the damn words right out my mouth. i can't stand his azz!!! lol

  • His Sean John Selection is okay. But he's pimped BIGGIE all the way to the bank. He aint no real talent. His role in Raisen in the Sun proably had Sydney Portier puking!! He aint Walter Ray!!

  • i LIKE his COLONGE, and some of his clothes from his line, that's bout it. LOL!!!

  • He did win award for the movie, so he doing okay with me. Anyway, how he pimped Biggie?

  • yeah puff robbed them for all there loot to, bastard...

  • You must have a PHD

  • I have no hate for this Pirate! He's the luckiest guy in the world.

  • BTW, they was his artist anyway, so he could do that.

  • actually my bad. Kima obviously wasn't lipsynching here, and yeah she does sound more together than Keisha.

  • I like it!

  • ok Kima has the best voice from total hands down, she sings better then pam and Keisha live

  • lol...not EVEN. i liked the unique sound of Pam's voice, but i think Keisha had the most potential. there's time when i can almost hear her cousin Monica's voice in her. yes THAT Monica.
