How did you make the parallelograms wrap around?

@TomTornados I just drew them whole and removed a sliver off the top each frame, working backwards.

Only one misstep here: the words don't zoom out perfectly from their own center but more from the actual center.
Now try it with three notes (1971) and consider the Columbia Pictures reference (1973).

If you drop the music pitch down from D flat to C major, about one half-step, it'll be perfect.
