  • thumbs up :)

  • never do this again

  • I agree this is a SHITTY REVIEW!

  • is that a review? really?

  • My 2009 Honda Cbr600rr has more horsepower....this shits weak.

  • i really hate this guy

  • Why do so many people like the red ducati..i like the white one more

  • guy is a fag like stephen balwin a fn homo. real homo. your 5 ft 8 how the heel would you know what 6 ft 3 would like or not. GAY, lord of the gays ! at 4 min the camera man says this "dude sucks"!

  • guy is a fag like stephen balwin a fn homo. real homo. your 5 ft 8 how the heel would you know what 6 ft 3 would like or not. GAY, lord of the gays !

  • since when does it have a motor and not an engine?

  • @frisc45 engine and motor, same shit different name

  • @nepalihercules wow really dude? motors are electric. its ok because alot of people use those words interchangeably but it is incorrect.

  • @frisc45 MOTORcycle = electric cycle? lmfao. stop replying if u don't know what ur talking about.

  • @nepalihercules No. By definition a motor is always electric and an engine an ICE or ECE. But nobody outside engineering really takes that seriously.

  • Great bike, bad review.

  • Why does he keep comparing it to the 1098?

That's like "reviewing" the GSXR750 by constantly comparing it to the GSXR1000.

  • @TychoCelchu because it would make it easyer to chose between the two...

  • I have the 848 in red yh the white is nicer but shes so hot

  • Whats said on 4:00??

    This dude sux??

And thats TRUE,great bike dumbass testing it!

  • Good job on your video I liked it very much!

  • Shit review! I don't feel inclined to watch any of the other 176 videos you've posted.

  • What a useless "review"

  • Damn, this bike makes 140hp to the Crank and puts 116 hp to the ground? AMAZING!!

So to Ducati fans, I have a question. My being a Kawasaki fan, I would like to know, what would be a good reason for me to take this bike over say a 2009 ZX-6 or ZX-10R that would cost maybe $2,000.00 Less, besides the fact that my wife who hates motorcycles actually likes this better than the Ninja? LOL!!

  • @supersayin1 because it's beautiful and sounds amazing

  • @goonballer It truly is very beautiful! I have yet to hear one in person though, I feel the internet may be robbing it of it's true amazing sound! But i do prefer the loud scream of an inline 4.

  • @supersayin1 Come to my house and I'll let you hear the roar of the Ducati ^^

Screaming inline 4's are something trully amazing, but you have to rev the absolute monkeys out of them. When I'm cruzin' on my Ducati people's heads are turning every which way because of the thunderous noise that's coming from the Desmo =D It's something unique and when you ride it you can really feel the verberations through your entire body. And the torque is insane!

  • @SicSeb WOW!!! I have to hear one in person! I love that V8 grunt at low RPM's I can only imagine it in real life. My bro is thinking of leaving Kawasaki alone and going after a 999 or a Desmocedici 1200RR. He'a fallen in love with the sound of those two bikes simply because of the vids he's seen on youtube. The Sound of the dry clutch hooked him.

  • @supersayin1 V8 grunt? Sorry mate, I don't own four of them xD

Btw, I went riding with a good mate of mine (he owns a 749) and we stopped at the place where we bought our bikes for a cup of coffee and a Desmo was standing there. Brilliant machine and when he started it up and revved the shit out of it, it was something trully amazing. I have never heard something like that in real life before, it was insane =P There was also a guy with a 1098R with 2010 termi's and you could hardly hear him =P

  • @SicSeb Ohh V8 grunt, the wonderful sound of an American or Austrailian V8 engine in a muscle car. As for the sounds you just described to me my only reply for them is WOW!!!! I hope to hear a Desmo some day in person!

  • @supersayin1

It is a very light, high torque single side swing arm beauty. Great all around sport bike with looks to kill. I'd take it over a zx6 any day. The zx10, I would have a harder time choosing it over as the zx10 is balls to the walls power. i guess it depends what you are looking to get out of a bike. 848 is a great all around sport bike thats hard to beat awesome for riding enjoyment. I rode my buddy's and I love it... but my busa wins in a race.

  • @Buggusmac Thanks for the reply! i agree, this is one of the most beautiful bikes around. While being a huge kawasaki fan, I think the 1198S Corse, the red and black with the platinum tank is the best looking bike of all time. I heard that the 848 wasn't as comfy as the ZX-6R or 10R, but who's ever riding for hours? LOL!! It's tough, because while i want the 2011 ZX-10 , The 848 isn't as powerful, but gives you a good amount of power, with looks to match, which is good for South Florida living!

  • @supersayin1

Thx Supersayin1, just checked out the Corse 1198... you are right! It really is a beautiful bike!!! Wish i had one!

  • @Buggusmac You and me both! i really want one! Out of all factory Bikes to me it's hands down the most beautiful! And again, this is coming from a die hard Kawasaki fan!

  • @supersayin1 I gotta tell you this...about 20 yrs ago, a friend of mine became the proud owner of a ZX11. At the time, I had an older V65 Magna 1100 muscle bike. I absolutely knew my bike was the baddest thing on the planet. On our first ride together, he was smoking me with such ease... I had to ride it. That was the first true sport bike I ever rode... i am a fan as well! Owned sport bikes ever since.

  • @Buggusmac I rode a zx-11, and my firsttime I almost lose it! The power was Instant and amazing! i had never ridden a bike so powerful before, and i the largest bike I ever rode before it was a GSX-R 1100. The ZX-11 was just in a different ball park for some reason. I used to love the Magna's .very good looking cruiser / muscle bike.

  • Did you say your height was 5'8"?????????

  • How about for those people whose height is about 5'7"-5'9"??? is it comfortable to ride?.. pls i need your feedbacks coz i'm planning to buy 1 soon..thanks!,,

  • Ruben Xaus must've looked like a dipshit then. When he won in Misano, at 6'2"

  • How the fuck do you ride this bike without crashing your nuts? I test rode it today and it's unbelievably uncomfortable. And yes, even by superbike standards.

  • I like it to stunt !!!

  • i think its a modern classic personally! 848 is more then enough power for me, im a rookie though... ive only got a gixxer 600. but you get to know youre riding a ducati which is just sex on wheels, id feel pretty good about myself every time i saw it in my garage... if i save for few years maybe il be able to get one lol!

  • Commited riding position... You could say that! What's the point of taking the ergos to such an extreme that the thing only works properly in a race track?

  • I love the way this bike looks, but I'm a beginning rider, so I don't think it'd be appropriate for my daily driving kind of newbie stuff.

  • 4:01 "this dude sucks" lmao xD

  • Does not sound good. Those desmodromic valves make the whole thing sound like an old Ford cold diesel engine. No, I have to look to the Jap. machines for performance and good sound.

  • It bothers me how just 1 bad review gives the right to dirty brits to make fun of the USA, shoudlve just let your ass get fucked up by the germans

  • @2k5mike

"shoudlve just let your ass get fucked up by the germans"

lol... russia saved them more than you ever did.

good ol ignorant and chauvinistic american tard. go read a book.

  • @joyfulvulture shut up dirt bag go kill yourself, look at all the comments on your page you worthless piece of shit

  • are any of you on line doing bike tests??? if not stop bitchin at least this guy is doing somthing productive.

  • Ducati.. making mechanics out of riders since 1946...

  • this guy rides like a bioch. Wrong HP wrong Torque. dont put your knee out when your going 25mph you clown.

  • as always, what a shitty american review

  • @aechdlg : Yes, I agree..All of these motorcycle reviewers online in the States are garbage.

    It's embarrassing.

Even documentaries here are rubbish. BBC is the best...

    Ripe opportunity for someone however!!

  • they got the hp wrong

  • @aechdlg Why? It's a dyno run.

It's roughly 116 on the back wheel and roughly 134 on the crankshaft.

And if you don't agree, then measure it yourself.

  • they got the hp wrong

  • You can rent this bike from Chatsworth ATV Rentals

  • At 4:00 ----"THIS DUDE SUCKS"!

  • Great sounding bike. Awful review though. All I kept hearing was how it wasn't a 1098 but it is fun.

goodjon11: Really? I love Ducati but they are no less of a "childish look at me noisemaker." I refuse to dignify the rest with a response.

  • what a shit review...

  • @doublestrokeroll He always does shit reviews, he doesnt prepare anything, just sits on the bike and rides it. Besides, how can you take a guy whos going yeehaaa seriously.

  • This guy sounds like Mitch Hedberg. :)

  • I saw the 1198, 1098S and the 848 all in red and in white and they looked so so so good. The white and the silvergrey flakes in 'em. Damn nice! Best looking bike ever, yet very uncomfortable for your balls =P

  • MrAled123.....Thanks i will take a look, not ridden a bike for years so want to get back into it.

  • I'm only 5ft 3ins and almost dwarf like!,i'm stocky though....Is there a good bike for small people like me to ride?

  • @UTUBEFREAK1974 400cc's are small zxr400 is a very nice bike have a look :)

  • @UTUBEFREAK1974 Pocketbikes?

  • Best bike i seen in my life

  • I'm 6'6" and i prefure the feel of my 848 over my 600rr. Ducati's fit tall people better. My wife's bro is 5'5" and he decided to go with the monster 10 s because he could barley reach the bars on the 848

  • @rlutsie87. Don't you feel like you were riding a pocketbike??? Im 6'3'', I have tried "bigger" bikes like gsx6r k7 and people tell me that i looked like a clown riding a microbike... so I wanna know your opinion.

    Ride safe

  • @MrPolodelimon no i definitly do not feel like i am riding a pocket bike. i do know that it looks like i am...but what can you do? not as bad as my 600rr (i had a friend tell me i look like a spider monkey fu*king an ant) or my commuter 250 ninja.

  • I don't know much bout bikes, i like this though...but what is the container housed next to the dash used for? It looks like an external gas gauge but I dunno??

  • @MuddyTonic, I think you are looking at the brake or clutch fluid reservoir.

  • The only bikes I see broke down on the side of the road all over the U.S. is Harley they are junk!

Just like the cars they build over here in the U.S. they are junk also!

Toyota is giving a 20 year 250,000 mile warranty on all of their cars I wonder if any US automakers will match that!

Harley lets see I know "WE WILL GIVE YOU A WARRANTY UNTIL YOU GET THE F OFF THE PROPERTY" then F-U your on your own! "SUCKER"

Ducati 848 EVO 140hp bad to the bone! Still the same price $12,999.00

  • Who said fucking Harley? Bull shit. Fucking people change exhaust on that thing to make it even noisier. There are only few harley or choppers that I like, only few ones. Not the ones with fucked up design and graphics.

  • I love my honda but wouldn't mind some of that low-rev torque! plus what a great sound. need money, love ducati.

  • Harleys are not junk, they are just for a different demographic.I have looked at them and they make a couple i would like to own.But i can only have one, thats why i drive an 848 and had a 916 before that.

  • at 648 miles o kilometers you shouldn't drive your bike like this :P

  • That bike is lush! Dream bike toss up is between the R6 And the Ducati 848! So hard to pic haha! :L

  • @KattFlapKiid i'll decide for you. 848

  • The best looking ducati since the 916 I really want one. !!

  • I need this Bike.

    Love Ducati

  • I'm going to agree with tehdon007 on the rider fitment, ducs fit tall guys better, the most legroom of the lot, and the reach to the bars is no big deal for us

  • sex on wheels

  • @and sometimes its just sex on wheel..... if you twist the throttle too fast !

  • This bike makes me cum aaaa aaaaaaa aaaaaaa

  • son of a bitch this bike owns

  • @humanoutlaw True enough

  • hey, i'm 5'9 this bike is perfect!

  • I've had people tell me I"m too tall for some bikes, and I stand in at a whopping 6'1 170lbs lol

  • 116 whp ?? isnt the gixxer 750 around 130whp?

  • @GOBbluthagain

But 96Nm torque and stiffer chassis.

Hp are not all, real life have bends

  • 3:25 sparking knees!!! awesome!!!

  • DOes anyone know if this bike is more comfortable then the 748. I've had a 748 and it was terrible in comfort. A 100 km ride was really hard...

  • I think most real suberbikes have that "problem"

  • I think when your feet is on the road while you're on the bike(stand still),that means u r proportional for the bike..but that's just my opinion.

  • thats got to be the nicest bike i've ever seen thats stock.

  • Sames i want One :D:D:D:D

  • Short riders always say that "You aren't going to like it, you're too tall?" How TF do you know? Have you ever been tall? I'm 6'5", it fits with no issue.

  • lol good point. i was wondering that, too... 5'11".

  • @tehdon007 thats something that puts me off bikes when im older, being to tall :/

  • @tehdon007 bikes werent made with tall people in mind.

    Japan=little short people

    Europe=little short people

    America=fuck harley!

  • @markistc "Europe=little short people" Uhm, Dutch people are the tallest people in the world.

  • @SicSeb Add the Finns to that list :D

  • @tehdon007 So true. People said the same thing about my 800 ss. I'm 6'3 and she feels great even on 10 hr rides.

  • @tehdon007 thank you for saying that! I was terrified being 6'2" that I would never own this bike. Do you actually own the 848?

  • @tehdon007 Dude, if you're 6'5'' you look ridiculous in a superbike.

  • @tehdon007 lol, now THAT'S rubbing salt into the wound...

"Shut up dwarf, I'm much taller than you and am superior in every way!!!" ;-D

  • @tehdon007

i don't know what 6'5" is but i'm 1m 90cm and i'm only 17 XD my brother is almost 21 and has his Ducati 749 next weekend and he's 1m 93cm and he has done a test ride yesterday and he said it was good even i sat on the bike and it was very comfortable :p

  • @tehdon007 ha i know the 6 is for feet right? so that's 2 meters and the 5 is for inches? that's like 12.5 CM

wow man you are big :p ( if i'm correct )

  • I'm 6'2" and I have a 2008 848. I dont feel too tall for the bike at all, in fact It feels quite comfortable to ride...for a sportbike. As far as I know the 848 has the same dimensions as the 1098 or 1198 so I don't understand where his comment about " you tall people aint gonna like it " comes from. If that's true tall people also shouldnt like the 1098 or 1198?!?

  • I'm five foot eleven.

A friend watched me riding it and said it looked like it was built for me.

    I loved it. I want an 848.

  • he says: " you tall people aint gonna like it "

  • If you have rode an 848 please give me a plus tick, if you haven't then tick minus. I was just wondering how many people have actually rode one, I have myself, its a great bike.

  • sex on 2 wheels !

  • what does he told by 1:25 ?? Tall people "don't" like it?? or Tall people likes it? id don´t understand ^^

  • @RazerTodd tall people wont like it

  • he says tall people yu all gonna like it i think

  • oh shit that's were I ride on my CBR 600RR! The place if you are interested is of course in CA in the mountains north of Glendora the road is then called Glendora ridge road. Good stuff I highly recommended it but....its very unforgiving About the 884 i was about to buy it but for the diff. in money vs a CBR It really doesn't make sense to me but I respect all other fellows how own a cool looking 884

  • Ducati! <3

  • Lol harley owners, +1 to all of you and your obnoxious and stupidly loud bikes, be careful your BBW doesnt rattle off the back.....

Im opening a CD to buy one of these in a couple years, its a little harsh on the wallet, but in my opinion, worth it 100%

  • The Ferrari of motorcycles. Ah, wonderful.

  • this bike is awesome...chicks just come over and grab u by the ass :P im gonna buy this machine in 2010

  • 'Not for touring...' haha

  • Duh! of course it has more torque than a 600cc, it is around 45% larger capacity...it better have more torque...is it better than a GSXR 750 though? ...and it just isnt, even though it has 100 more CC's......great looking bike though.

  • inline 4 vs Twin, Both are different animals

  • Of course but they are always saying how the twins are more torquey....but not when you compare a bike of equal cubic capacity. .Which is the reason why they do not compete on equal ground in any racing format.

  • exactly that why i got me cbr 600rr because its even better

  • thats like asking if a nissan gtr is better than an enzo

  • how is this bike as a first bike? :P

  • LOL

  • too much power...:)

  • @trytin55 if u want to die, go for it

  • Harleys are JUNK. Childish 'look at me' noisemakers for stupid american rednecks. Hahahaha. Ducati RULES!

  • agreed totaly man

  • I must agree on the Ducati's, there simply isn't a better or more beautiful bike out there! But I still like harleys, they sound nice, they're really well built, and look nice too... It's a matter of tastes I think :)

  • @goodjon11 Just so you know. One of Ducati best traits is the sound that they make. "Noisemakers" I believe you put it. Grow up A-hole. Sound and performance are how we judege things.

  • @goodjon11 have you seen the southpark episode about harleys and calling them fags..hahahahah

  • @goodjon11 Harleys are not junk, they are well made but a little overpriced.I would not buy one because of that reason. And yes,i ride an 848.

  • @goodjon11 Maybe you are a stupid redneck

  • @goodjon11 well...they're not exactly junk. There's some perfectly good metal there. I would just scrap them and build better bikes.

  • @goodjon11 i don't really want to start anything here, but whats wrong with rednecks and harley's?

  • @goodjon11 Talk about apples and oranges. Harleys are cruisers, Ducati's are high end sport bikes. And last time I checked, My 851 was louder than my Harley XR 1200....Both with custom pipes...

  • @goodjon11 come on they're totally different kinds of motorcycles. its like comparing a blinged out mercedes benz s600 amg to a lamborghini murcielago. sure they make lots of noise and "look at me!" but in totally different ways. its all subjective bro, dont hate.

  • haha my dad's friend is selling this in red and he's planning on getting it for me...this is sick

  • It's the other way around. I like Harley, but Ducatis are more badass. Harleys look good in the rear view mirror.

  • beautiful scenery! i bet that bike is fun for play rides

  • i like ducati, but harleys are more badass

  • i'd say equally as badass, in their own rights ;)

  • yea

  • but harleys are useless really xD nearly impossible to ride if not in long roads whit no curves they are good only to cross america lol not to use everyday... and far too heavy

  • oh i beg to differ, harleys can take curvy roads just as well as ducatis. and they are everyday vehicles and their weight just means you need to build some muscle before you drive them

  • Are you kidding me?? What is that last MotoGP race that was won by Harley? What was the last any race that was won by Harley except for 1/4 mile drag runs. Fact is that Harley is purpose built for cruising, not racing. They couldn't stay with a Ducati in the straightaways much less in the corners. Get a clue.

  • i never said harleys could race in motogp, but they can turn "almost" as good as those bikes. harleys are built for a lot of purposes. and idc what you think, i like whatever makes me go fast. Get the dick out of your mouth.

  • How about I kick your sorry little ass you fuck. I didn't escalate this to getting snotty. I just said that there is no way a Harley will corner like a sportbike. Its not meant to. That said, they are much better for cruising, thus they are called cruisers. I like Harley too. Get a hold of your self and stfu!

  • How bout u stop blowing dick. and u went too far. and idc still, but i have control, and u need to check with your perole officer to up the dosage on your meds

  • How about you stop with your oral fetish. You seem to have a big fascination about this. Keep your fantasies to your self. And by the way, my "parole" officer said that I could drop the meds as long as the voices went away.

  • harley can't curve as much as nearly any other bikes becouse they are veri low with a large handle which makes it far more difficult(impossibole) to make a tight turn... it's very simple to understand... it's an american bike that says it all....

  • actually harley builds buells which are known to have some of the most brilliant handling ever known to bikes...so piss off...although lol, i would never buy one, too slow for me

  • there u go!

  • Actually Eric Buell builds Buells. Harley only USED to supply engines for them but there fading that out to cause there shit and slow and heavy with no Hp. There using Rotex engines now

  • Harley Davidson builds Buells. Harley Davidson is the parent company of Buell. All their bikes still use HD motors except the 1125R

  • I own a Buell XB12s. It runs like a raped ape. It's plenty fast, and can out corner most bikes on the road. I've driven the 848 too, it is an incredible bike, but I would still go with my Buell any day of the week. I love the agricultural feel of my XB. It's low brow and mean. it has a sound that's unmatched by most twins, and when ridden hard on the twisties I keep up with the inline4s.

I like the way you just roll off the throttle, no dwn shift, and nail it in the apex without overpowering.

  • who cares, harleys are way more popular and can be enjoyed longer

  • lol, "they can take curvy roads as well as ducatis"

  • LOL that is a real laugh isnt it. Spoken by someone that has only ever road a Harley. I could beat Valentino Rossi around a track if he was on a sportster and i had a Ducati

  • LMMFAO.... have you ever ridden a motorcycle? I have worked for HD for 18 years and havnt found a harley yet that wont scrape off the feelers turning in a parkig lot. REALITY.... get some.

  • yes i have driven a motorcycle.... and obviously your work cant be considered very good if you do not think that harleys are nice motorcycles..REALITY, you dont know your ass from a hole in the ground

  • voodo.

You worked at HD, how about you did a better job, and made something that could last.

  • maybe thats why its called cruiser...

  • price??

  • ok but not like the bike i'm getting................the zx-14r!!! i just think that kawasaki is cheaper and it has better bhp/hp and all that stuff

  • this is what real motorbikes sound like

  • u should give up making videos. yeeha

  • I like the bike but the rider is plain bad, doesnt know how to turn properly and bangs the front trying to wheelie. Maybe he started riding some days ago.

  • I did a testdrive and yeah, this one will be a nice compagnon for my 696+ in my garage. The 696+ monster for roadrips and the 848 for racing, what does a girl needs more? A man? Only if he drives ducati!
