BTW, that would be Dex of Flat Duo Jets. If you can find Go Go Harlem Baby it's worth whatever you pay just to hear their version of Apple Blossom Time that preceded the stripe's by like a decade. It also happens to be one of the most real rock albums of all time. Bill's an esoteric one. His 'vocals'are often like samples and sound effects-- almost like he's got Tourette's syndrome and it manifests thru his music. Either people get into it or they dont (like my wife who's much more a Ray Condo fan. I loved that cat too), but either way Bill's skills as a musician are outstanding. Obviously you didnt read the conversation. You might want to before you open your pie hole. I was being fascetious, I no fucking elitist just because I dont like the fucking strips. The first time I saw the strips on tv 7-8 years ago a told my wife look, a really bad FDJ wannabee band. Ive seen nothing since to change that opinion. Ive literally seen dozens of guitarists better than Jack White. I dont care about the rock business, I just like good music. This is a rip off, not a cover.

Actually, Im probably the kind of fan bands like. I support them, without the pathological need to be some sort of slavish hanger-on, pathetic, no-life groupie. If a band is into that then they probably arent my kind of band. If asked, Ill give an honest answer be it praise or constructive criticism. I certainly havent been dropping the names (wearing) the various bands I like here. If asked or it was relevant to the conversation, I might.

I don't care if you like them or not, what i took issue with was your baseless claims. Claims that make it obvious, like "takashi2000" said, that you haven't listened to much of the White Stripes. In fact, i wouldn't be surprised if the only stuff you've heard were their 'hits' and this cover. Not enough to attack them with this much passion, which is quickly becoming pathetic.

Im attacking them with this much passion to annoy you and the other fascist drones that took such issue with my original comments. Hes trying (without giving credit) to EXACTLY duplicate Dex;s cover of this song from Go Go Harlem baby. And he does a crappy ass job of it. Have you heard Dexs version? Ive seen enough strips music to know Im not impressed. Its uninspired, lame, and derivative posturing. How much shit do I need to smell to realize its shit? Youre gaga over a goose egg.
