  • nice speech

  • My response below was trying to clarify the query 'jai903' had.

'Only to the extent that all life, all of the earth and "the-spirit-that-moves-through-all-things," is sacred. Once we begin to base our food choices on the principle of least harm and destruction, then we will know, as Tolstoy knew, that we are on the right path, that the vegetarian ethic is the genuine and sincere pursuit of moral perfection on the part of our species.

  • 1. When we eat animals, we kill them. But when we eat fruits, nuts, grains and many vegetables we don't have to kill the plant. (Fruitarians).

    2. We kill bacteria by breathing and by walking, but it’s something that we can’t help. We can’t help breathing. Otherwise one die without it. Same with food.

We all need food, so everything on planet must consume energy from other.
