@acmoc Yes, this flywheel is streetable. My current Flywheel right now in my JDM H22A is a 8lbs Fidanza Flywheel, and I weekend DD the car with no problem whatsoever. Faster acceleration too if you ask me. :D

@Silent7mijo The F23Ax IM will bolt right onto the head no problem. You'll need a 3-wire to 2-wire IACV adapter to retain your stock 2-wire IACV from the F22. Besides that, everything bolts up fine.

@1PARADOXXX Thats cause the stock bumper lights are only single filament bulb that has a two wire. You'll need to source a set of 3-wire bulb holder corner lights from the Civics/Delsols which uses the dual filament bulb.

I never got the chance to throw it on the dyno. Guesstimation was 160whp. I bought the ECU all chipped and everything from a shop in Cali. The guy burned me his ECU map setup into a Hondata S100 p28 chipped ECU; since, we both have the same setup except that he's got a bored out Intake Mani and he's putting down 163whp.

@nusdogg That puts a h22a to shame! Here in Australia no one is interested in the f22b1 vtec, you can pick one up for dirt cheap. It makes me wonder if the swap would be worth it or just go with the f series. With high compression and head work I imagine it would really set it off..

after re-reading ur stats id say u might be more around 200whp. the vtec, cams, ur IM is pretty much ported, the chipped ecu and i/h/e id assume.

i only have i/h/e stg.1 ecu and vp12 for more aggressive maps and im getting 175 crank in 2nd on a f22b2

I got a question for my fellow accordian. There was a little black box on/behind my intake manifold(jdm h22a), my dad broke it while we were putting in the engine(i think its called the iab solenoid). Do i need this box? and if so where could i get a new one?

another question is why have i seen some h22's without this box, and some without(like mine) the MAP sensor on the throttle body?

You don't really need to have the black box underneath the IM. It controls the IAB to open at certain RPM with the P13 ECU. I removed it and hook the iabs by vacuum. To do so, you'll need to remove the vac hose that the diaphragm has to the black box. Remove it from the black box and connect it to one of the nipple on the IM.

92-95 H22s don't have it on the TB and its located on the firewall while the 96-01 H22s have it on the TB.

yes it does. Clutch finally broke in and i dumped it from fifth to third and all i gotta say is "WOW". Huge difference with this bisi stage 2 cam. Pulls way stronger and harder once hit 4k rpm.

reason i was askin is ive heard nothing but bad things about that motor. and from personal exp. i put a B-1 in my cb7 and is was pointless. the motor made good torque but vtec SUCKED!! but in ur case put together well should be a good ride.  how much u got into ur motor??

Oh i see, i think vtec should kick in hard with the cam i got, and so far i've put in around a 900.00 or so, including maintenance seals. And with the light flywheel, I should be able to pick up the acceleration better.

I swap in another b1 since my old b1 was kinda shot. So i did a Bisi Stage 2 Vtec Cam, S2 Cam Gear, F23a1 IM, Stage 1 Clutch, 11.5lbs Flywheel, front & rear main seals, T-Belt, and Water Pump.

No.. You only need one if your's is leaking. The cam seal is on the cam, and it has nothing to do with your cam gear, so you're good.
