@fearowdrill First of all, you don't know shit. Skyward Sword is not close to reaching the top of the Zelda Franchise. Skyward Sword is by far the easiest Zelda game out for consoles. Even the gameboy games are more challenging.

If you're a pussy, which i assume you are, go play Skyward Sword. If you're a man and want to play the original game that has brought Zelda to where it is today , where you can't save several times in the dungeon, and a fairy telling you exactly what to do, play ALTTP

@haakondale Obviously someone here who has not played skyward sword if you did you know it is quiet a challenging game and even more so in Hero Mode where you lose hearts twice as fast and hearts don't appear so you have to rely on potions and fairies if you ask me wind waker and twilight princess ranks up there as the easiest and they are still great games you shouldn't judge a game by graphics, difficulty or multiplayer and wtf a fairy doesn't tell you what to do in skyward sword

I do think it's better because it sounds more mysterious. Saria's Song sounds like you're dancing around in a field. The best lost woods theme is Sacred Grove though IMO.

When me and my dad would play this we would always go exploring instead of going to the dungeons in order. I remember going to the forest after the 1st dungeon and finding the sword and trying to pull it out but couldn't. idk but back then it seemed like some mystical unattainable object and when I finally did pull the sword out I felt like I had actually earned it.

@GreenFloyd12 They'll probably be confusing at 1st but then (usually after you've at least been through the forest several times with or without playing through the game multiple times) you'll get the hang of the layout.

The 3 forests I probably had the hardest time with at 1st would have to be the Lost Woods in Ocarina of Time, the Woods of Mystery in Majora's Mask & the Mysterious Forest in Link's Awakening.

Because of that damn Raccoon, I got lost a lot. Then I sprinkled him with Magic.
