VERY NICE. Those are gems! I wonder how much you paid for them. I own a TZ which didn't have home use like this one, but it was used one small arcade in a neighborhood. Playfield intact, original coils, boards with no repairs, no burnt GI connectors. I plan to keep it as a family treasure for my entire life :)
I bought it with 3 more: TAF, Fish Tales, Dr. Who, same condition, already sold :(
I paid $1400 for the four back in 2005. Pinball was cheap back then... I consider myself very lucky! :)
In the comment about the coil at the 3 minute mark...this is the "knocker" coil...that makes that knocking sound when you win a free game! Many pinball machines we open up to overhaul have this coil "robbed" because they needed the coil elsewhere in the machine. Since it is the same coil for many other mechanisms in a pinball machine, it can be "borrowed" and used elsewhere in the machine! NEW pinball machines today recreate the sound digitally and do not use this part at all!
Hey, what is that on The Addams Family machine at 3:00 in the video, on my machine this solenoid is missing and I don't know what id does. anyone help me??
Nice machines i am hoping to soon restore my addams family machine and sell it on :)
Sometimes batteries leak after 2 years. Recently, new in crate Robotrons and Black Knights from 1980 were uncrated (a place called Time Machine Warehouse in Canada had them) and they discovered unleaking dead batteries from 30 years ago!!!! Todd
Nice machines, but I find it really hard to believe that those batteries are the original. 99% of any and all batteries will leak and if they have been in the machine for almost 20 years, comon.
That's the number 1 pinball machine nemesis are old batteries.
