thats not true at all. his only top 10 stat is playoff shutouts and the only reason he has any good stats is because he played for the wings. no vezinas, no conn smythes, and 4 all-star games but never first team all-star. he played behind at least 6 hall of famers in detroit alone. they won cups in spite of him, not because of him. good player? good career? absolutely on both counts. hall of famer? no chance in hell. theres way too many better goalies that played in his era. doesnt make the cut
