If so, the pig was some sort of local hero who gave clothes to local starving children? The pig may have been nice even to one man, or woman, maybe by lighting a candle?
I don't know that I'd hog hunt with less than a .30 cal firearm, .44 Mag handgun or a 150# crossbow but good job.Hope you enjoyed the eating as much as the hunting.

The Gammo Ulmate Hunter Air Rifle is excellent for Wil Pig Hunting however, the Gammo Ulmate Hunter cost an arm and a leg for $575. At that price you can buy a .30-06 then on the other hand the alode pellets are cheepr in price then ammo.
You are right. I got done talking to a gun deal who hunts he said the gamo is a waste of time but he did say the Stoger Air Rifle is far better to use at least what he said. But me I just stick to using my Mosin Nagant to go Hog Hunting.
why would you hunt with an air rifle aposed to a powder rifle.....yeah yeah prices of ammo....but if your a good hunter it will me about a 50 cent shot...20 rounds of .270 for 10 bucks....50 cents a round...

Just had to comment, after reading what everyone wrote. These guys were hunting. Yes, a true hunter takes his time, waits for a perfect or humane shot, and then takes it. These airguns are way different than your average airguns. This is .457 call gun. It fires at high speeds, so the sounds are going to be similar to a normal gun.

The Gammo Ulmate Hunter Air Rifle is excellent for Wil Pig Hunting however, the Gammo Ulmate Hunter cost an arm and a leg for $575. At that price you can buy a .30-06 then on the other hand the alode pellets are cheepr in price then ammo.

You are right. I got done talking to a gun deal who hunts he said the gamo is a waste of time but he did say the Stoger Air Rifle is far better to use at least what he said. But me I just stick to using my Mosin Nagant to go Hog Hunting.

the gamo only puts out 20 ftlbs at the muzzle. the gun in the video is doing 300 ftlbs.. he shooting a .457 roundball at 950 fps

What gun are you using? And gamo has the velocity but the .177 calliber just isn't ment for hunting anything more than a rabbit

why would you hunt with an air rifle aposed to a powder rifle.....yeah yeah prices of ammo....but if your a good hunter it will me about a 50 cent shot...20 rounds of .270 for 10 bucks....50 cents a round...

@derderpaintballguy yeeh i know what your saying, but hunting with an air rifle is more challenging, you cant shoot that far so you have to try and get closer, and air rifles catch are alot mor so its even harder

Just had to comment, after reading what everyone wrote. These guys were hunting. Yes, a true hunter takes his time, waits for a perfect or humane shot, and then takes it. Yes he could have gone gung ho and shot two pigs, but they would have been injured until he killed them. Props for a SWEET air rifle, props for taking the right shot. Too bad not everyone gets it.

He is using a Quakenbush .458 outlaw. It fires 430gr ammo at 732fps for about 500ft/lbs of energy. This isn't your RedRider BB gun.

These airguns are way different than your average airguns. This is .457 call gun. It fires at high speeds, so the sounds are going to be similar to a normal gun.
