  • The point is that the cross is on government land. According to our constitution, the government needs to be secular, no religion involved. If it were privately owned land I see no problem with the cross. You can have a war memorial without religious symbols. They had it without a star of david didn't they? So why not without a cross? To say that just because it's a memorial that it is exempt from the separation of church and state is wrong. It is not exempt so long as it is on government land.

  • well i am an atheist, but i hate those bastards who cant respect religions..

  • @kLeRrks: What's to respect?

  • @MsHyde1 not making fun of 'em

  • @MsHyde1: That depends on the theists. If someone tells me everyone else but people who believe in his god deserve to burn in hell they don't deserve respect for this nasty belief and shouldn't complain when they are mocked for it. Though I do have compassion for people who believe this crap because they were heavily indoctrinated.

  • When i'm scared, i pray to God. And everytime i ask Him for protection, a warmth envelopes me, and i can sleep knowing im protected. But, who's protecting atheists? Well, God is, but they r 2 stubbourn to know that. My point being, just don't go around making fun of someone's religion, ESPECIALLY christians cause we are insane and we will light u on fire. using water as our fuel. trust me, it can be done.

  • @icecreamlover459 light this ---> ( ( )

  • Yes, those kinds of atheists are assholes. I don't hate atheists, my sister-in-law is an atheist, and my cousin is a really stupid atheist, like it's not even funny how stupid he is. The cross isn't hurting anybody, is it? It's in the desert! On a rock! Is it really that offensive to those people? And I really don't see how Christianity is harmful to society. I see how it can be harmful when hardcore Christian republicans try to change people's ways of life, but what are we hurting?

  • Throw rocks at the Pope? Hmmm, I'm not opposed to it. Who gives a shit if it was a WWI memorial, those men are dead. Do you think that they'll be offended? Find another way to commemorate them, by, I don't know maybe erecting a statue and devoting a park to them.

  • Well said.

  • if you succed to prove that there is a invisible man up in the sky that rewards you and punish you for your sins, i will still be an atheist

  • @distortionkicks then you're a moron.

  • @hjenkinz so i'm a moron for not believing in something that we neither can see, touch or hear?

  • @distortionkicks no you'd be a moron for rejecting a proved god. that's just as bad as theists now.

  • @distortionkicks pretty much its like not believing in air we neither can see, touch or hear it but we can feel the presence of it we can hear the presence of of and you can definitely see the presence of it ex: the wind blowing something over tornado's

  • @aztecman1000 no, it's not even close. everybody knows that air really exist, but a guy up i the clouds? just because some book told you that? no, i don't believe in such things

  • @aztecman1000:

You can prove air exists. You can liquify it, use it as an agent in chemical reactions, your body processes it. It is a fully known, thourouly researched element. There is however zero proof of god(s), sorry.

  • God is real... that is all I have, all i need. Atheist can believe what ever they wanna but it wont effect this Christian none. And no one comment on this if you have nothing nice to say.

'Treat others the way you would want to be treated' thats what the Jesus taught me

  • @ThePreachingArtist Grammar? Spelling?

  • @LOGICandREAS0N sorry

  • @ThePreachingArtist "The Jesus"? xD

  • the cross does'nt tell me i deserve to be tortured forever, for not being gullible.

the cross does'nt want to murder gays for loving the wrong person.

    the cross does'nt support slavery.

i have no problem with the cross.

  • If atheists had it their way the Jacobins of the French revolution would have finished their efforts to exterminate anyone who had any inkling of religious thought. Just as the atheists have their right to spew hatred to anyone with an inkling of religious or even spiritual (me) thought. I have just as much right to express my hatred for you atheist's who think logic and reason figures everything out for them. BULLSHIT! Science is GREAT. But, it's not going to figure out all the questions.

  • I agree with what he said, who cares if there is a cross there, I mean really, we should be above such petty nonsense :/

  • @compsciguy you can put that either way, there are atheists that may just attack people for their beliefs, but you want me to imagine being a believer and having people make fun of my beliefs. lets turn it around, imagine you are an atheist, and you're having other people push their beliefs on you, convinced they're right, and you can't even phase them. They hold all of this so dear, that even questioning it is ridiculously offensive, as if your beliefs and opinions are more important than mine

  • Stab in the dark here, this is a tad baist, no?

  • WHERE IS GOGREEN18?????

  • Yeah, don't believe ANYONE's word about ANYTHING. Seek out the evidence for yourself.

  • @Chiselnips

Exactly. Some militant atheists are just as intolerant and close-minded as some religious people. I cannot stand Westboro Baptist church.

  • That was really good. Thanks.

  • @matthewjsharpe you are very welcome :)

  • Why'd I come here?

  • @GARETAWESOME to be learned at

  • Thank you, one of the few athiests I have seen that actually has reason and logic behind him other than openly attacking religion without purpose.

  • @attiyeh422 hehe,

tell that to some of my other christian subscribers :D

  • A cross implies ONLY the Christian vets are to be remembered, it should not have been a cross in the first place. It's their so leave it be add to it if you feel so inclined, but grow up

  • @Lordpoison67 my sentiments exactly, why not add to things, instead of taking things down?

  • @JamesEzSecretChannel I agree with that. My family is half Jewish and half Christian. Really they're atheists but we've always celebrated both Christmas and Hanukkah. We always put a Star of David on the top of the tree and both Christmas and Hanukkah ornaments on the tree. Even as a kid our holiday programs at school included Christmas songs, Hanukkah songs, and songs for all holidays of the season. My son is now 4 and last year his school did the same thing. I don't get this Christian ..

  • @JamesEzSecretChannel ... or nothing at all attitude.

  • why you say? BECAUSE ITS UN CONSTITUTIONAL

  • why is he smoking?

  • thumbs up from an atheist. we need to get our priorities straight.

Changing blasphemy laws, stopping I.D. from being mixed with science, having laws passed based on the bible. Those make sense.

Other stuff is petty and rather pointless.

Problem is some people want a victory anywhere they can, even if its crappy. sad.

  • Damn... you are perfect. O.o

  • Good Stuff JamesPope.

  • I get your point but I disagree, it is government property and should not be there, not to mention it's representing all WWI soldiers as christians, which alot of them would hate to see, and it really just promotes the idea that america is a christian country based on christianity, and because of stuff like this people will continue to believe that, it's not anyone elses fault that they're too stupid to understand that the U.S government is secular.

  • @KingAdonisDNA the issue as I was illuminated upon, had to do with other religions wanting to erect a memorial, not having to do with atheism,

I still feel a more constructive route would be to create memorials commemorating all of the different faiths and lack there of that create our nation, instead of taking one down

  • @JamesEzSecretChannel Why didn't they just build a pillar or something in the first place? One with a plaque with a message commemorating all soldiers of all cultures and religious belief? Why in the world do they think it's justified to only represent chrisitans!? It's perfectly reasonable to be anrgy about this.

  • @KingAdonisDNA a cross represents a lot more than just a christian symbol when it comes to death and war.

  • @ArtAndSuch But it IS a christian symbol, it's disrespectful to dead soldiers of other or no religion for it to be there. Obviously I know it's more than a cross, but that's why it shouldn't be a cross at all, it should be some other kind of monument.

  • @KingAdonisDNA Yeah i see what you're saying. But when people look at a cross today that marks a memorial. The people don't think "Oh dead christian". They have a cross at the world trade center memorial . They aren't saying all the people who died on 9/11 are christian, and nobody is thinking it when they see the cross. It's just a memorial. It's also a symbol of hope, because everyone wants to believe that the dead are alive in some way somewhere. The cross is a symbol for that.

  • @ArtAndSuch And some of those that are dead didn't want the living to think that of them, it's a false hope, and it's almost like spitting in their face because according to the christian beliefs, they're going to hell.

  • @KingAdonisDNA I'm not sure they care... They're dead. Not sure their family cares...because if they cared then the cross would not be there. The only people that seem to care are these atheists who are not concerned about the well being of dead soldiers, but rather their own satisfaction in telling all the other kindergartners that santa isn't real.

  • @ArtAndSuch Well would you show the same manner of respect to a dead christian just because they believed they live after death when they were alive? No, it's because that's how we act in society, and there obviously are atheists and non-christian religous people complaining that their relatives are being misrepresented.

  • @KingAdonisDNA but i'm just saying nobody is presenting them as anything. They are presented as dead. They are all honorable equals. There is something highly disturbing about a different stone among hundreds of crosses. The atheists are no better than the christians and the christians are no better than the atheists. The cross simply does not represent religion in this case. The christians can think so all they want. So can the atheists. But it just doesn't

  • @ArtAndSuch It does represent christianity, it's a fucking cross, and that's how christians will see them.

  • @KingAdonisDNA Like i said christian can see them however they want. The government/Military is NOT putting those crosses there as a representation of religion.

  • @ArtAndSuch What are you talking about? It's a cross, it's a christian symbol, and in this circumstances like this it's supposed to represent dead christians, but you know what? It doesn't matter how people view it, the wishes of the dead non-christians should be respected equally, and I know I wouldn't want to be represented by a cross.

  • @KingAdonisDNA

Look up Cross in the dictionary, and you will see pictures of crosses representing a VARIETY of religions and beliefs. So, no, Xianity is not the ONLY view symbolized by a cross.

  • @KingAdonisDNA

But atheism has NO symbol, so how are you gonna remember and honor them? There's the evolution fish/dinosaur evolve emblem, but Xians and other religions accept evolution as well, so....

  • @KingAdonisDNA dude its a cross in the middle of nowhere. Its not a cross on top of the freaking statue of liberty.

  • @iamastupidhead84 Shut the fuck up.

  • @KingAdonisDNA You mad bro?

  • @iamastupidhead84 Yeah, a little, I mean just because it's not the statue of liberty, those people don't matter?

  • @KingAdonisDNA Umm nope. Im sorry that they are so sensitive.

  • @iamastupidhead84 Oh you're an idiot, well I don't mind just go be stupid on your own.

  • @KingAdonisDNA and your an asshole. yeah lets just go take down a WW1 memorial...

  • @KingAdonisDNA and your an asshole. yeah lets just go take down a WW1 memorial...

  • @KingAdonisDNA

The US government is secular? that's what you wish, but it's not true. In God We Trust is on the money, and most Americans are Xian. And back when the country was formed, NOONE was an open, outspoken atheist. They would have been MURDERED if they came out of the closet like that. So....even if the founders were atheist, they could never have admitted it, so you really don't know what their beleives were.

  • @compsciguy Nope, the U.S was pretty much founded for freedom of religion and freedom from religion, that's why it's not a commonwealth nation. The founding fathers were atheist and deist (And I think a couple were christian?). Anyway, no they would not have been murdered, except probably later in american history when the Klan was very powerful, and lynchings were popular. The constitution makes it clear that the U.S is secular, and the government will make no law respecting an establishment...

  • @compsciguy ...of religion, or any law prohibiting the excercise of religion. Documents such as the magna carta and the treaty of tripoly make it clear that the united states is in no way founded on christianity. And for your information they only printed "In God we trust" on currency in 1956 after the cold war, before then the pledge of alleigance didn't have "Under God" in it. The U.S government is secular, and the seperation of church and state is an active policy.

  • @innes609

Do you have any idea how many people have died in the name of religion? Believing in god and all the fucked up non existent beliefs that come with it is not ok and i personally choose not to associate with those kind of people.

  • @MrShnigglepuff

that's in the past. I'm sure atheists have done evil things in the past too. Shall I name a few? Atheism doesn't get off the hook that easy.

  • ur a douche

  • Try to not do speed before you make a video

  • @aaqaaqaaqaaqaaqaaqaa yeah, I'll give it a shot

  • Cult joiners & haters will take ANY bit of ground they can away from the United States Constitution & the Bill of Rights. They will set you up & YANK the rug out from under you! David Duke set up the protagonist religious wars in his racist writings! READ THEM! This "man" is a brainwashed idiot, with the mind of a child - as are MOST of our "young people". He believes in nighttime fairy tales, that his god and jesus want him to lie, cheat, steal & KILL to get his way,,,in the name of "love"!

  • @t4705mb6 which "man" are you talking about?

  • @diddykongfu

i hate u. you are hating elder people. respect the elder people, especially your parents, or your wife, etc.

  • Why not through rocks at the pope!!!??? That's a great Idea. They did it to people (or at least thought it might be a good idea) so why not???

  • @TheIdealGasLaw gotta throw'em pretty hard to get through that plastic box

  • HHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA CHRISTIAN WANKERS HAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHHAAAAAAAAAHAHAHA

dont even deserve to be biologically alive.

  • @dukedase7 I'm technically a catholic, but I have a lot of doubts, I'm a very logical and analytical thinker, there is nothing wrong with that. And thinking the way I do, I just don't see why religious people don't have legitimate proof of god other than the bible. Atheists throw out any evidence they have and try to talk to religious people about it. But religious people won't have any of it, and it doesn't make sense to me

  • @cards4izzy1

It should make PERFECT sense to you. If you were a beleiver, and some atheist was being mean to you and belittling everything you believed to be true, would you "have any of it"? Making fun of ppl's personal beliefs is not the way to present so called evidence. You have to have a mature, civil adult debate, which most atheists and most xians cannot do.

  • I hate atheists because they are just fucking dumb ass stuck up little punks and they reject ALL facts of God. No mater how much proof is shoved in their dumb faces.

  • @dukedase7 'proof"---lol!

  • @aaqaaqaaqaaqaaqaaqaa I suppose you are another one of those dumb atheists.

  • @dukedase7 There is zero proof of a god you fucking idiot, the bible is not evidence.

Then again only a religious moron like you would think so.

Atheists are far from little punks, quite the opposite we are the intellectual elite.

  • @Swecan76 Ha!! You sicken me, begone from my sight you idiot!

  • @dukedase7 Hows the praying coming along?

    Fucking idiot.

    I own you bitch!

  • @Swecan76 It's coming along nicely. Can't wait till I am in heaven laughing at your poor soul. Bah. You atheists are just stupid.

  • @dukedase7 Go ahead waste your life with prayers, there is no god.

Also, how can you know you'd get to heaven, that is not for you to decide that would be god of your respective religion.

Just talking like you "KNOW" you will get to heaven would be blasphemous, you can only WISH to go there.

Obviously it is you religious people that are stupid, how can you not see that there is no god that the bible is a joke of contradictions.

You actually have to have low IQ to believe or delusional.

  • @Swecan76 Lol, you're so sad. I don't KNOW if I am going to heaven, but I believe I am. I have a hell of a lot higher chance than you, I know that.

I will no longer be replying, you aren't worth my time.

  • @dukedase7

You're the one that is sad, you actually believe in fairy tales, I'd expect this from a VERY young child.

I guess that means you're not smarter than a 5 year old. So how does that feel? To know you are basically a retard.

I laugh at you, you simply are beneath me with your incessant stupidity and self-righteousness.

  • @Swecan76

And you are continually engaging in this moronic argument, so you are no better than this believer. You are so desperate to tell ppl that they believe in fairy tales, yet you offer no proof for the alternative. If no God, then what? There's gotta be SOMETHING that made everything. Time didn't last forever.

  • @Swecan76

Being arragont turns pp off. You will never get across ppl if you continue to ridicule them. And ppl will keep on believing what they want. You are not helping the problem. It's sad.

  • Die hard atheist as well, and I agree.

If I see a head stone in a cemetery that is in the shape of a cross (basically similar to the cross in this park) and I heard that Atheists were trying to get reworked, covered, or remade, I'd want to punch them in the throat (I wouldn't, I'd just want to)

Atheists pride themselves on being rational, but this is far from rational. If anything, I'd fight to have the piece of wood nailed to it removed.

  • Seperation of church and state, a religious idol on public land violates the constitution. We should raise hell about it.

  • Seperation of church and state, a religious idol on public land violates the constitution.

  • I agree with you entirely, atheists shouldn't be as reactionary as the religious over little things. But does the original report actually say that atheists are demanding it be taken down? I've not seen anything to suggest that this is being lobbied for by atheist groups but rather a move by the government. If I'm wrong then your anger is totally justified, otherwise you're just responding to an argument that nobody made...

  • @MeBeMat

You are correct, it wasn't atheists, I've actually got a correction video, I don't know why it wasn't it the description or annotations, but it wasn't thanks for alerting me to this, I've added them now, and you can check out the correction video here, watch?v=RSR4vBEgBSM , sorry for the confusion

  • I agree. Trying to take the cross down is the same as atheists trying to remove the "under god" from the pledge of allegiance. If you don't agree, then don't participate. He's right. Atheists pride ourselves in being logical, welcoming freedom of belief, and encouraging people to coexist regardless of race, belief, or sexuality. Once we join the religious fanatics in the 'throwing of stones', so to speak, we lose any credibility we have. Plus, it's highly hypocritical.

  • @camhirtle I see you're a moron.

Everything religious have the be separated from anything to do with government, such as the money, the allegiance, no religious artifacts in courts etc etc.

Everyone has the right to freedom of and FROM religion, it's a PRIVATE matter and should never be public under anything government.

You are obviously not an atheist, since you can't tell the difference and you defend religion where it is NOT needed and it's unconstitutional.

  • There are many (not all, now) people who become atheists because they are disappointed with religion and life in general. So they reason that there is no point to pray since they feel God has never answered them, decide that since there is no answer, then there shouldn't be anyone to answer to later. Then they go on the attack against any who disagree.

  • @Redskin1040 it's not exactly that they feel he's never answered them, but that they realized that he cannot, because he isn't real, and not real things don't have mouths or vocal chords to answer with, they don't have anything to respond to anything with, because they are not real :)

  • @JamesPopeAfterShow They first feel there is no God. Then are convinced there is no God as they go through a "deductive" process. The same can be said of theists or those who become theists under subjective or objective (to their satisfaction) conditions.

  • @Redskin1040 I'm actually very happy with my life. I've never seen any evidence of God. Everytime I ask a Christian for proof of God they sidestep the question or give some kind of lame answer like "look at the trees and the sky around you." I just don't see any reason to believe in God. I never have and probably never will.

  • @elgmalone Take that happiness and work to make a difference in other people's lives. While we're all here, our differences in what we believe or don't believe shouldn't deter us from being civil and helping each other.

  • Good job James. Being reasonable shows what an atheist can do. Yes, taking down a Cross from a park put their by WW1 vets makes you an AHole. This just shows the intolorance of (some of) the atheist movement. Thanks for standing up for common sense. Who, exactly, did this cross offend? Again, good job.

  • I hate atheist because they are annoying pretenious stuck up assholes who deserved to get their asses kicked and I'm not religious I just hate stuck up conceited people.

  • Great video. Agree with probably everything you said.

  • I don't neccessarily agree that the cross should be taken down, however I can understand why some would see it as a violation and the harm in leaving it up. What I mean by that is that it opens a pressidence for other violations of the seperation of church and state. If we allow this, then what's next? So be careful of saying that somethings okay because it's not hurting anything, because it accually might in the future. But like I said, I don't thinks its really a big deal myself.

  • Interesting video. Why does the war memorial have to be a cross? Why not a cenotaph or a cairn or whatever? If the soldiers were all Christians then I apologize to them as I guess a cross would be appropriate. Personally I have no problem with the cross but then again I do not live there. And while I am here let's spare a moment for all the Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Jews etc who fought and died fighting on our side in WWI.

  • the problem i hve with athiests is tht they think they r sooo enlightened and think they r mighty. asholes..

  • @Chutneybhai that's the problem i have with a lot of christians. It always seems to be the pot calling the kettle black in these arguments.

  • @milkmankennedy i agree with you!

  • @Chutneybhai

Isn't it obvious that us Atheists are more educated and enlightened.

It's a fact, the more educated you are about things and life and science and how the world and universe work, the more likely you are to become an Atheist.

Yes I see religious people as fools, some willfully ignorant , some just plain fucking dumb.

There is NO logic in religion, it is nothing but fairy tales and contradiction.

Of course I see my self as smarter than someone that basically believes in Santa.

  • @Swecan76

I'm a filipino and I ain't atheist! I go to church! I get fed up by these Atheists on YouTube! I hate it! Atheism = SUCKS!

  • @8999000 You're a Filipino, my condolences.

I am fed up by religious fucking imbeciles, I can't believe how fucking dumb you have to be to actually follow religion.

Get back to me when you can think for yourself.

  • @Swecan76

You think ALL religious ppl are fools? What makes you so smarter than the majority of the world's population? Who are you to judge ppl for their personal beliefs? PPL choose to believe in a higher power so they can deal with death better. You like death? You think it's nothing to fear? You must have a miserable life to think that death is nothing to be worried about.

  • @compsciguy "people believe so they can deal with death"...

    This is exactly WHY.

Note, that it is RELIGION I hate and look down on, cause religion is pathetic and silly and frankly moronic.

If a person just believe that there might be something more "out there" but has no religion, I can respect that. I don't share the belief

But religion, I respect that as much, as I would respect a grown person believing in Santa claus.

Also according to an IQ I belong in the top 2-4% of the world population.

  • @piemasterKSI

They think they are mighty but they only believe in NASA. They don't believe in the dead. LOL

  • PURE IDIOTS

  • Because the constitution clearly states that religion is only supposed to be displayed on private property, not public/government property. A cross is a christian symbol and if it wasn't on private property then technically it is unconstitutional. And I know that you would love for the rules to be bent, but if we did that, well, what effect would constitutional law even have on anyone? I mean, if it can be bent and all.....

  • @NiWiPe36

I'm not religious but it says that no where in the Constitution. The part your're thinking about is the one where congress cannot regulate churches or the choosing of church leadership. The reason people shy away from religion and state is because of the precedent set by Jefferson. In the end, Judicial activism is what put an end to prayer in public schools and such.

  • If Atheist want to control public policy then they would have to get non-Christians like me to allow it. But that will never happen because I don't believe in allowing anyone but a children's parents final say in what they are taught. And because there are more Christians than Atheist this means that Atheist lose. No matter how much scientific data they produce. So actually it all works out because it is a simple math problem at the end. Thank God ;).

  • @TheAntiFascist2010 If you are speaking about evolution then you lose. Evolution is totaly backed up by science. Therefore must be taught in schools. A persons religious beliefs be damned. But if you are a non-christian, I dont see why you would have a problem with that.

  • @theshadowify I know that evolution is backed by science. I am well studied in evolution as well as theism. Religion also belongs in schools because it is impossible to understand any region of the world without understanding that regions religion. That is called social science. Why do Atheist think that they can eliminate religion? You can't. It is just a fact that people of low intelligence lean toward religious beliefs. You can't not teach religion, that would be not teaching history.

  • @TheAntiFascist2010 I do not think it is impossible to understand any region without studying religion. You are basically studying culture. You can study the culture and explain that it is due to their religion. Of which you can touch on their religion, but not necessary to go in depth.

  • @theshadowify If Atheist truly were intelligent then they would realize that trying to prove that there is no God is retarded. You cannot prove that something doesn't exist unless it once existed. Like the famous Atheist said "God is dead". Well in order to prove that God doesn't exist then you must revert to a place where God did exist and show that God is no longer there, so, scientifically speaking, if there is no God the there are no Atheist. All Atheist really think that there could be God.

  • @TheAntiFascist2010 Most atheist are intelligent. Most atheist do not try to prove that there is no god. They do try to point out how rediculous religion is."God is Dead" is just a catchy title to sale books.I do not think there could be a god. It is illogical.

  • Or we could do to the pope what god did to king davids baby.

    "2 Samuel 12:16"

Yahweh struck the child that Uriah's wife had borne to David.

    "2 Samuel 12:18"

A week later the child died.

  • thats so stupid, this cross is pissing of like 3 athiests and if they take it down its gonna piss off at least hundreds of people becuase its A WAR MEMORIAL!!! i think athiests are doing this for attention because they are attention whores and jack off everytime some asks them what religon they are and they get a chance to argue about anything

  • @thegreatgoodness well i'm an atheist and I'm not an attention whore and jack off every time someone asks what religion I am and get a chance to argue about anything... therefore you are wrong. My evidence.... I am not jacking off while typing this. Try to write a comment that contains so many false statements next time, moron.

  • @thegreatgoodness No. The reason they are doing this is to keep the practice of separation of church and state. This is activism. Activism forms a group to fight for what they think is right. The problem is they run out of things to fight. So to keep active, they fight for stupid innane things. This is one thing that has gone overboard.

  • @theshadowify So Atheism is activism? Because it is obviously stupid to try and argue with religious fundamentalist. So Atheism could also be considered the practice of stupidity. If I went to my job at a plant and started bashing religion then I would be stupid. Same here on you tube. There is no point in trying to disprove creationist. There is also no point in trying to prove Evolution. It is all a personal thing. Either an individual gets it or they don't.

  • @TheAntiFascist2010 NO, I did not say that atheism was activism. I am saying that fighting separation of church and state is activism. But yes there is a point to prove evolution. Yes there is a point to disprove creationist.

  • @theshadowify Maybe you are one of the Atheist that understand how ridiculous some Atheist can be. I for one think that every human being has value no matter the level of their understanding and have a real problem with the general state of atheism and its hardcore message of hatred towards religious people. Don't you think that this could be considered a step backwards by many intellectuals and maybe Atheist in general should rethink their whole philosophy toward Evolved life on this planet?

  • @TheAntiFascist2010 The atheist that you call ridiculous are ones who have a chip on their shoulders because of religion. They have a chip on their shoulder because how religion has treated them or someone they know. Not to mention how religion treats the unusual. Religion also sticks its nose in where it doesnt belong.Religion is constantly telling people how to live their lives.Gays cant marry. Sodomy laws.Abortion.Pushing for creationism in schools. Pushing for prayers in schools.

  • @theshadowify

You think abortion is okay? Hugh........????? okay????

  • @compsciguy Nobody thinks that abortion is a good thing. But a person who needs an abortion should have the right to decide for themselves whether it is right or wrong without other people sticking their nose into other peoples business. There is a line that is drawn to how far along you are to whether it is legal. That line in satisfactory to me. Late term abortions I dont agree with.

  • Any religious symbol anywhere is spreading the decease, so it shouldn't be there.

  • @KeistasZmogelis that sounds pretty strict to me, like Nazism or fascism. I thought that all people should be free?? Are you a paranoid schizophrenic?

  • @TheAntiFascist2010 I changed my mind. Just keep it out of schools and it's fine....

  • @KeistasZmogelis your still swimming in fascist idealism there buddy. Try to find some dry ground soon, OK.

  • @KeistasZmogelis You can't control what the public reads or chooses to read. Public schools are public domain. Your politics are fucking delusional. You think your smart but because you discriminate against people who are different from you yet you have become the worst fascist ever and I fucking hate fascist. You don't see how you are a fascist pig do you, you Atheist infantry drone.

  • @TheAntiFascist2010 Would u teach alt geo (the world is flat) in school aswell as normal geo? Plus, place pictures of flat earth on the walls? Do you think that should be tolerated just because people that believe it are different?

Religion mustn't be a choice of opinion, because it's either true or not. Only the truth should be taught in schools. Unless something is proven to be the truth, it shouldn't be taught.

Im not talking about choosing what to read, but what is forced to read... cruel?

  • @KeistasZmogelis Dude, any normal person can see clearly that the world is not flat, what schools have pictures of a flat earth on the walls. You aren't making a very good argument for your political fascist agenda. But it will be harder for you anyhow because I am not really into God or Religion. How can you convince me to give a fuck about what they teach in school?

  • @TheAntiFascist2010 I just gave an OBVIOUS example of what shouldn't be taught at school. Religion may not be as obvious (especially when you are taught that god is real since birth) as this one, but it's actually equally ridiculous and with equal amount of evidence and should be treated equally, which is "Keep it out of schools until it's proven to be real".

  • @TheAntiFascist2010 "any normal person can see clearly that the world is not flat"

If a person wouldn't receive proper education, he would think that the world is flat. If it was that obvious, people would have known that long before....

Same goes for religion - It may seem that animals were designed by intelligence, but that's not true.

Oh and btw, The bible says that the world is flat, so teaching Christianity in depth = Teaching that the world is flat.

  • @KeistasZmogelis You Atheist are funny people. Why should I allow Atheist to take over public policy? That was my question to begin with. You keep pointing out reasons for Christianity to be wrong. I get that already. I am asking "You" why "You" should control what other people do, just because you call yourself an Atheist I should somehow put "you" in charge of what society does. That's what you want right?? How do I know that you aren't just an Atheist spambot?

  • @KeistasZmogelis The Atheist plan to control society starts with controlling what they teach in schools. This unfortunately is Fascism. We must keep the government along with the state out of the school system. Do you retarded Atheist get what I am saying yet. Probably not. Your all too busy arguing with the mental patients. Screaming at the schizophrenics. Who is crazier, the patients (Christians) or the doctors ( atheist)?

  • @TheAntiFascist2010 Answer me a simple question: If it was your choice would you allow or disallow teaching in school that a tooth fairy named James Smith is watching you when you sleep?

If yes - you are a moron.

If no - You are as much of a fascist as I am.

If we want to keep the society healthy - controlling what is taught in schools is the key.

We don't want to create a bunch of deluded people in schools, that would be catastrophic for the future of humanity.

  • @KeistasZmogelis Look, I agree with you about the delusion of religion. However, and I am not just brandishing my sword anymore, OK. I really don't have an answer for you, because, as I said, state run programs are not the answer. I am sure that you aren't a true fascist but this problem about truth being taught in schools is very political and i think needs to be looked at a little further to make sure that this isn't an Atheist agenda. You understand that right??

  • @KeistasZmogelis Atheist asking the government to step in and control what is and isn't truth is definitely a fascist ideology. You get that right. You do understand that this is bottom line what Atheism really aims at doing and that that is definitely power to the state which seems a little like going backwards seeing how the government is completely fucked already.

  • @KeistasZmogelis And to answer your question: I don't care what is taught in school so long as it is what the people choose and so far that seems to be an overwhelming majority of Christians choosing creationism. But that is democracy and I will never have it any other way.

  • @TheAntiFascist2010 If democracy in the teaching, the result:

American would fall behind in medicine and biology catastrophically. The average IQ would fall and the scientific advance would halt. Is it really worth it? US would be laughed at.

"... step in and control what is and isn't truth..."

No one can control the truth. The truth is fixed. But it's possible to filter out the bullshit. No one chooses what is true and what is not, it just either is or it isn't, that's beyond opinion.

  • @KeistasZmogelis Atheist are to narrow minded about "truth". Sometimes truth can be a very small thing. A thing that you need to fix your problems. Sometimes GOD is truth to someone who was raised by christians. Then those people need to research religion and understand for themselves, control on the other hand is never good. Just because the world is filled with stupid people doesn't give good reason to ignore the strides society has made toward liberty for everyone. Christian and Atheist alike

  • @KeistasZmogelis

That's your opinion, so why should government do something based on ONE atheist's opinion?

  • @compsciguy Because teaching superstition as fact or as plausible as any scientific theory is wrong, whether anyone likes it or not. Only things based on science should have the pass to be taught in schools. I don't say that god definitely doesn't exist, but until it has any scientific ground it's nothing more then a thing that someone made up, thus shouldn't be taught as fact.
