@iwantahat wanted, british stars had to perform to lip synching tracks, but at least pretend to be performing live to keep up appearences. Other wise, why even have the performer there. It's all about stage presentation over actual ability. hmmmmm kind of like now. But 80's 90's musioc will alway sbe the best.

I don't understand why she never had a real solo career. But she's also brillant in songwriting and producing.
