hey guys pls help me... I can't breed it for dark pulse (I know the way but don't have second DS) so can you suggest me any move instead of Dark Pulse... My Hydreigon has timid nature... I trained it with focusing SP. Attack and SPEED for EVs...

I got Dragon Pulse (can train Draco Meteor), Flamethrower, U-turn... so what should be for instead of Dark Pulse... and if it loses its potential without Dark Pulse... then shall I wait for finding second DS? and Focus Blast has low accuracy :/

Dark Pulse isn't all that great in the first set IMO, which is why I opted for Focus Blast in it's place to get rid of annoying T-Tars, Porygon 2's etc... But great vid as always. :thumbs-up:

Hydreigon, Reuniclus, Volcarona. The best non-ubers this generation IMO. Terrakion, Virizion, Ferrothorn and Victini are all great as well, but for me, nothing beats those three this gen. XD

The first moveset is walled by Heatran unless you teach it Surf or breed it with Earth Power and worse still, it can hit you with Dragon Pulse.

The second set is outclassed by Flygon who has better speed, STAB Earthquake, Sandstorm immunity and Rock resistance.

I think this guy should go mostly Special with Outrage mostly for Blissey. Otherwise, go all out Special with Draco Meteor, Fire Blast, Surf, Dragon Pulse/Earth Power/U-turn holding Scarf or Specs or Life Orb. Use Timid to outspeed things

@ben401334 You didn´t get it mate. Choice Scarf makes your pokemon ttack first :). Only allows you to use one move, but if you use charge beam, it will be super effective against Archeops. Now, if you use Choice scarf as well, then your Archeops will win.

Hydriegon seems like such a cool pokemon, but it's a damn shame Zweilous evolves so late...LEVEL 64?? C'mon! & it's a bit much to ask to raise it all the way to that level, when it starts off with a horrendous ability like hustle. Actually not just Zweilous, but other new pokes evolve too late IMO--Vanillite doesnt fully evolve until 47, Klink at 49, Meinfoo at 50, Pawinard at 52, & Rufflet at 54.

@santuario2 thats an ok moveset. mine has the egg move head smash but if yours doesnt, i suggest fire blast, draco meteor, hyper voice, crunch. a good item is a draco plate or a dragon fang. hope this helps!

@MrMega3 Rock smash is replaced by focus blast, which is even more effective against blisseys. Hypervoice is unnecessary because of D-pulse, which covers more than Hvoice and has more power. Fireblast to cover steel types, and maybe a second stab with Darkpulse. Earthpower is worth considering. My set is: Hold Life Orb

252spd 252 spatk 4hp Timid Dragonpulse-Darkpulse-Fireblas­t-Surf. Good power, and all special.

@MrMega3 teach your modest hydreigon dragon pulse instead of outrage. either dragon pulse or draco meteor is fine. hydrei is a special attacker, so giving it a physical move like outrage is not the best especially that it has modest nature. try to visit w w w (dot) serebii (dot) net. also, replace rock smash with either fire blast or flamethrower to cover its weaknesses against ice & bug types.

@SharkAlien12345 i think, just my opinion, you should replace dragon rush with dragon pulse. you will benefit more in battles with special attacks when using hydrei. and since you taught it dark pulse already, replace crunch with a special attack fire move (flamethrower or fire blast) to deal with bug and ice types, which are its weaknesses.

@justcallmeNoNaMe1 Fix the nature to something like Modest or Timid, it's better to have Fire Blast than Focus Blast since Fire Blast gives you an edge against heavy HP types like Amoonguss and Metagross, and replace Flamethrower with a power move such as Draco Meteor that Hydreigon can use as a Fail-Safe just in case or a boosting move like Charge Beam that you can use to KO pokemon in the red zone or a scout move like U-turn in case you want physical attack as well.

Just remember that Choice Scarfers with decent speed and high attack always or almost always Speed Demons with Choice Bands or Specs. Ever since Choice Scarfs went into play, speed demons like Jolteon have seen little to no action unless they're being helped by other pokemon with Tailwind or Icy Wind.
