In this case the throttleman drives the boat, the helmsman just steers it. Notice driver instantly responded to "suggestions" made by Throttleman as new driver. More of a partnership as crew bonds. Just like on SR-71, no time for discussion has to be reaction by both crewman. Mistakes can be instantly lethal.

To the boneheads that even try to compare reciprocating engines to turbine power-plants..you CAN'T!! Sure they operate as four-stroke, five-cycle engines, but are distincly different. They both Suck,Squeeze,Bang and Blow, that is to say Intake, Compress, Combust and Exhaust, with (Ignition being the third of five cycles). Jet or Turbine engines spool or spin continuously in one direction, whereas the Recip's pistons change direction every revolution, hence No-Go to any comparison.

It a hull design diffrent miss geico is actlly a foot longer on the water line and miss geico is MTI CAT. so different boats. the reason why i know own a 45 skater catamaran..it almosy identical to Bacardi just longer with out a canopy... the stepped chimes are a lil different...easy to figure it out..use 3.14 x the length of water line..it will give the the average speed..or theorical speed!!
