I wasn't there but I did used to work as an event coordinator and I know for a fact that many entertainers set things up like this even going so far as to pay people to act out these types of things for publicity. There's something about this that looks "staged". No punches were thrown for one, and alot of angry fans would probably throw punches, 2nd DMX's staff bodyguards would most definitely have "roughed" the rent-a-cops up for sure, that's what they're trained to do.
