@gynecol: It used to be a really fun thing to watch. They went in a different direction and really screwed the racing up. Plus, ALOT of people are tied to or know someone in racing, even at that level.

That used to make up your fan base. Now, it's drawing in more mainstream fans and the true old school fans do good to catch a race ever so often on TV.

Things may look good for NASCAR by the money but it's downhill from here. You would have had to grow up and know it for what it used to be.
