  • your a tool thats a 4th class scramble at beast, there are few routes at all on half moon all are located in the fron and back sides not the sides you tools are using. next why dont you show us a video of long wall and how not to climb there

  • @xtrimex, you're, not your.

this vid is back before we actually "became" climbers

  • insane man style is the best way to enjoy the climb.maybe you should rename the trip to "cry adventure".

  • @olds420 lol

  • I was just at halfmoon today. It was amazing to watch the sunrise.

  • we made it up to cloudsplitter :))

  • I'm going to red river gorge with my boy scout troop and we go on what we call "high adventure" I'm 12 and i honestly dont want to do what you just did is there a trial route instead of climbing like insane men?

  • insane men? i love it!

  • what would be the best route to take up to cloudsplitter, start at the base or can u get to it from the indian staircase trail(sheltowee trail #100 from bison way)

  • you can definitely do the indian staircase trail...but there is a shortcut that takes you directly to sheltowee from the road...it'll save you 45min each way...pm me if you need more info.

  • is the rock house near cloud splitter that looked realy cool i would love to take that hike and see the house ive never even heard of it

  • the rock house is actually part of cloud splitter. when you are on the top...there's a huge crack...what you need to do is go down a level and walk to the crack...it's amazing, after you crawl thru the one part...it opens up into this room with an amazing view.

  • Small world ! I was camping across the field , that is directly across from the start of half moon trail.

feb 15 is my birthday !

If you like that type of "chiminying climbing" , you all would love the cave down by the creek. Less like a cave , more like a crack through the hill. It's always 54 degrees , so its cool in the summer , a real good chance to cool off down there. real wet though.

Been down there 100s of times , contact me if you want some advice , or share tips.

  • are you talking across the road from the "trail head?"

the crack sounds like a blast.

  • where is jake?!?!?!

  • who's this?

  • y????

  • @PHelpsPHan01 b/c it's there.

  • dude, im so jealous. I love climbing SOoooooo much. Can we go on a Sunday sometime? I'll bring my camera too! We can make a Man Vs Wild episode or something.

    I enjoyed this video.

  • We need more videos, like this!!

  • more coming
