Are you high? Smoke grenades useless? That kind of shows your skill right there. The smoke grenade abstracts the view of an area for about 5 seconds. It's great of taking power weapons without the enemy knowing (such as the Boom shot in Canals, along with the sniper/torque on River where, if your late, will get your head blown off by the opposite sniper who is already aiming at your pickup animation head).

@sundossa Alright you have your 3 seconds of smoke whereas the old smoke grenade knocked the person down as you raped them with a shotgun. If you've actually played on canals then you would know that if you waste your time throwing a smoke while the other person's already ran in and got the item its just a waste but 6 months ago you would throw the smoke stun the other person and actually get a kill. And on river theres no possible way the sniper could be aiming at you, your under a damn bridge!

@sundossa and its usually only up til hardcore insanes is hard as hell and i die a bit not a super super lot but a few times every chapter not section chapter there only five chapter so like 4 to 5 times

4-5 times on hardcore is easy. I did Insane solo and I died 30+ times, so I find it hard to believe that you only died a few times while running Insane. Clarified. I'm doing the Holy Hell challenge which is to go through Hardcore/Insane videotaping yourself and going through the whole campaign with 0 deaths. You get 250 for Hardcore and 1000 for Insane. ^^

Gears of war is in no way like Halo 3. Gears of war is supposed to be the bloody, gorey shooter that we all love. Halo is more of a … family game (lack of a better way to put it), it doesn’t have much blood and is pure, unadulterated fun while Gears puts a more ominous tone in it. Getting shot with a shotgun in halo 3 just makes you drop like a doll, in Gears, there’s not gonna be a body in the funeral.
