  • Title misleading. Change to Reasons Not to Move to Spain... He rambles on about the pitfalls...

  • Hi, I really want to move to Spain after studying hispanics at university, where I would be 23. What do you reckon the rent would be like, and how easily it would be to get a job? What kind of advice have you got, because I really don't know where to begin, anything will be appreciated, thanks.

  • Thanx. I've taken your advice on board.

  • I'm thinking of moving to Spain in March 2010. I cannot make up my mind between Alicante or Murcia?. My husband and myself will not be working but my daughter who's 23 will be looking for work. Where's the best place to go?

  • The further south you go the better the climate... I personally would advise you to go to Murcia. There would be plenty of work for your daughter there. Alicante has a bigger airport and therefor better connections, however Murcia is building a new airport which should be finished soon. Do not go to Torrevieja.... you will regret it. Do use an independant solicitor outside the area where you are buying. If you can afford to buy now, the price will be better...

  • It may help your daughter to learn spanish if she wants to get a job here. A lot of employers want bilingual staff

  • id go to alicante...murcia is more backwardish

  • I've ended in Liverpool, please help!
