are you nuts?! you don't have to like this album, but saying ,, it's too poppy'' is ridiculous, since there are aproximately three tracks you can barely say are close to pop- meaninng more mainstream ( aeroplane, tearjerker, my friends). Comparing to californication and albums after that one hot minute is heavy as hell.

Navarro is as good as Frusciante, or even better, technically speakin! OHM has cool funk songs like "Aeroplane", "My Friends" and "Walkabout". This last one is damn groovy!! But Dave didnt work in Peppers, cause he hasnt those "funkness" feeling like other guys! Navarro is a strange guy... Indeed he scary me a lot...

can't compare frusciante and navarro. you people bitch about dave constantly. don't forget the chilis asked him TWICE to play in the band, so they think he's a good guitarist, and Dave was the one who left the band, they didn't force him out. it's true that they didn't have that funky sound like with john, but they still kicked ass, and i personally think ohm was a great album, COMPLETELY different than the rest, but still great. just enjoy the music!

you're wrong there. they kicked dave out after his drug abuse. luckily, john returned, and the funk is back. however i agree dave is still a good guitarist and songs like let's make evil, transcending, shallow be thy game, deep kick are awesome. and he had a go at funk with aeroplane and walkabout, so yeah, just enjoy the music!
