I've read that they concorde in 2012 julie with Olympic play again go fly, I read on a Dutch plane site and they have looked if it's still expensive but that is no longer so so concorde going in july 2012 with olympic games back into use !!
What a beautiful Machine, Truly one of if not the best Airliner ever built. I still remember one Air France Concorde taking off from the Airport in Fredricton, NB. Flew over my house in 2002, and what a sight. sad to see them go.
Companies and individuals will always try to shift the blame to avoid prosecution, 25 years without a crash speaks for itself, yes I have seen the videos saying there was an identical incident years ago with a tire, how many 747's have crashed in the same time span and never been grounded. At the end of the day it all boils down to money, concorde never flew again not through safety but could not afford too.
with the way transportation and the world is now, Concord will be back! There is no doubt Concord or something very similar will be back in the near future!
The Concorde should never have been retired because of 1 fatal flight and not Concordes fault. This was a symbol of French and British pride. Now gone. I was lucky enough to have seen Concorde take off and it just took your breath away (litteraly). It was amazing, you felt the power go through your whole body. To watch it was a picture you would never forget. Thank god I got to see it.. Richard Branson forget the moon get Concorde back. !!! Sue.
@suetorquay You are right, many people died in an Airbus or Boeing crashes. the concord had only one crash in its whole life. I wish they could bring this Legendary plane back.
