Shiny Video Review: Logitech Wave Keyboard

Hey guys i am testing the logitech wave keyboard right now. I can tell you that i have never had a more comfortable keyboard, and while it may be true that it takes some getting used to, it is probably the best keyboard i have ever used.

If you're looking for an ergonomic keyboard than go for the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000. It takes the 'Wave' concept one step further.

Logitech used to make a keyboard just like it but sadly they discontinued that.

I agree with other comments that all those extra buttons are a waste of space. I would even argue the numpad is a waste of space.

Furthermore I have this keyboard. The extra buttons are redundant and useless and just adds to the size of the keyboard plus you need logitechs program constantly running in your system tray for them to actually work.

the browser navigation buttons on mice are lifesavers, particularly when searching, and you have to keep going back to the search results

it looks good other than it is so bulky, seems like LogiTech would do better with the technology that is available to them these days.

I got this keyboard the other day, And i have to say its extremely good. Especially for c++ development.

Terrible keyboard, firstly its VERY big, actually its easily twivce as big as most modern keyboards, and secondly none of my hot keys worked, with all new drivers and chipsets, nothing worked.

Bigger than what keyboards? You have obviously only ever had the £5 keyboards from tescos (teknika i beleive). All the logitech gaming keyboards are like this. Infact the keys are actualy smaller than that on a standard keyboard.

i hated this keybard, was way too bulky, and hate the "ergonomic" key. also hate the bulky keys. prefer microsoft laptop style keys.

people who use cordless usually want something less bulky.

I really like this keyboard. I actually bought this for my Vista computer, but I've started using it with my PS3 browsing the web from my couch. I just wish Logitech's PS3 Bluetooth keyboard were this nice, because it has the keys marked with the corresponding controller buttons (though not all of them, oddly).

Yes it does work with Mac OS X. Look for logitech wave mac and you'll find a video about how the hotkeys work with OS X. I found it very useful

to get the hotkeys at the top to work you need to press the Fn key then press the hotkey.Hope this helps :)

the palm rest is to short everything else is great

i bought e the other day and the hotkeys at the top of the keybord dont work.(nothing happens when i push them)Any suggestions?

maybe they don't work because they have to be programmed!

I bought this keyboard and mouse today and I have to its awesome ! So easy to set up how you like it , I was worried id have loads of keys and features id never use but its not the case atall,I recomend it to anyone,the only problem is the keys on the side of the mouse are kinda sensitive but you can disable them with the software provided if need be.9/10

I totally agree with you! this is a really good keybord! but... it isn't an ergonomic keybord... it has ergonomic benefits but its NOT an ergonomic keybord. to use ergonomic keybords you have to relearn how to type (I had one) but with this one... you don't need to! but these new logitech products are soooo great! you re right!
