heard Duncan play on a CD used as background music in a shop in Peebles. as a fellow fiddle player I recognised it as an Ayrshire style - not something commonly seen; most fiddle players favour the highland style of fiddling. I wound up with my head in the back closet of the shop to listen to it properly.
have to say duncans got to be the most talented fiddle players ive ever had the pleasure of listening to live, when they both played for runrig support, good days those, the 2nd stamping ground tour, really like Ivan too of course, really wanted to see a clip of dunk playing at that speed at the end what a fantastic night that must have been im envious!

It was a great night. They're on tour again in April if you're in the UK.
I'm envious you saw them in the old Wolfstone days, I would give a lot to be able to see that.

What a great duo! Anyone know the name of the first piece?

It's a Capercaillie tune called Calum's Road
