It's just the fact that I matured faster than most other children and I really don't play video games all that often, it' just gets boring and depressing to me. Another Problem i hate is how Those E rated and T rated games dont get put in nearlly the enough effort as M Rated games think about it Elderscrolls 2 - Daggerfall came out in 1996 (M Rated) and it took 6 years for Morrowind to be made in 2002 and Oblvion took another 4 years and hell Half life was made in 1998 2 YEARS! after i was born and my dad still sat me up on his lap and let me play because he knew i wasnt an idiot and i knew the difference between Games and Reality

I strongly belive that it is up to the parents to decide weather to by an "M" rated game or not. However, it is not the video game that cause the child to act violently, but the enviornment they are raised in. The way their family acts, the people they hang out with. I do believe Ratings need to be universal.

While all games in the UK are normally exempt from having a legally binding age rating. A QUANGO by the name of "Video Standards Council" has the ability to remove this exemption (which they do with surprising frequency) which means that the games MUST get a LEGALLY BINDING age rating from the BBFC. While I admit the current situation using 2 age rating systems (PEGI and the BBFC) is confusing, you really should do your research first.
