Not totally blown away by this press. The threads holding the handle on stripped after 2 pressings. Good friend fixed it. It works now but ratchet isn't very smooth. My recommendation is to shop around. Thanks for the comment.
I had to watch it again and I think I understand what you did. Rather than crushing the grapes originally and fermenting that, you pressed them, put the skins and seeds in a bucket, added the juice back, and fermented the whole bunch. What you do not show is the final pressing, which separates the pulp from the wine. Some even use the pulp again for a second fermentation by adding sugar and water. It was a well done video, just a different procedure than most home brewers do.
why do you add a lemon? what kind of wine is that.

And I thought pressing was done after fermentation. I guess I've been doing it wrong for the past 30 years.
