@AzureDrachen Well my personal guess is that Eden relied strictly on numbers and thought that the Enclave would win the brotherhood in a straight out slugging match, and I think that he tought of the orbital weapon as a backup plan incase the Enclave would lose to the brotherhood.

@saix235 Eden is destroyed when Broken Steel 'activates', either by the Lone Wanderer or Liberty Prime (after you take the Purifier, going back to Raven Rock reveals it's been destroyed either way). Eden is literally taken out of the equation in Broken Steel.

This doesn't provide an answer why Liberty Prime is destroyed by the Weapons Platform, but not the Citadel.

august, it contains broken steel and point lookout, but at the moment O.A and the pitt are on the disc thingy which you need to have patch 1.4 for your Fallout 3, you can get patch 1.6(i think it might have some bugs, not sure though) from the official fallout3 website, make sure its Bethesda's fallout.
