--According to Wiki and Pew Research (2007) the Muslim population in USA is 0.6%.
But of course Islam is the fastest growing religion worldwide. In America it's growing quickly by immigration and recruitment from Blacks and Latinos.

Most of the world has hated the jews for centuries for some reason. Im not quite sure why i find their religion just as annoying as any of the other major ones.
Yet jews have faced centuries of oppression by so many different groups, it aint just muslims that have hated them.
The original plan was rejected, i dont know the full details but it probably wasnt a fair deal. just because one set of talks fail doesnt mean we should all give up and accept 1000 more years of war

I dont know what carter did in his short period in power, but Israel has always been supported by the US and even Obama isnt going to change that.
Israels security is not in doubt, the US will always stand with them and rightfully so (although they should continue to advise israel to respect international law). Obama should pressure europe to do more.
Germany is committed to Israels security too, America needs to pressure germany to pressure the weak european countries to stop trade with Iran

All palestinians need is good nukes. There will be peace with nukes. I just cannot see little palestinians throwing rocks at Israeli tanks knowing they got the nukes. And I cannot see israeli in Gaza knowing they got the nukes. Israel will want peace with Palestine all the sudden.

Well the main reason many in the muslim world hates Israel today is because they are illegally occupying Palestine.
We should not forget the history, and my country is largely responsible for this. In WW1 the British Empire took jerusalem, we did that with the help of muslims promosing them their own state. At the same time the British government in secret began a policy to create a homeland for the jews.
We then allowed mass migration of Jews.. floodigng the area up until the end of ww2

Then after ww2, we left allowing the Jewish state to be formed. This angered many muslims because their land was stolen. So some muslim countries went to war with Israel and israel won.
Since 1967 it has been illegally occupying land, which is why the United Nations and many countries especially muslim ones want them to return to their 1967 borders

An end to illegal building of settlements for a start, more aid and development so there is less poverty. Poverty breeds extremism.
Israel should obey international law, if it did then there would be far more support for israel and they would be justified to act if their efforts failed.
Israel really does need to seek peace, but its actions dont suggest it wants peace. There is no justification for expanding settlements. I can understand not surrending them, but they could stop building

the palestinians do need to rise up against them, but the only way thats going to happen is by offering them hope.
Israel bombing their city simply drives more support for Hamas, if Israel stopped its illegal settlement building it would strenghten the moderate palestinians who may be able to marginalise HAMAS.
Also when they were elected, we said we wont talk to them and tried igrnoging them. we should of tried to talk and get them to change their core policy in exchange for progress

We are safer because of the United Nations and international law. International law focuses on protecting the human rights of people in different sovereign states.. by trying to help prevent wars and prosecuting those guilty of war crimes.

israel did leave the gazastrip, but dont forget they havnt ended their occupation. They still control the far larger westbank. Thats like me giving u back New York but holding onto texas, the occupation is still going on and it doesnt mean instant peace.
theyve also never stopped their settlement expansion. They also control the land border, sea border and complete air control of gaza strip, so thats hardly freedom either.. when israel can cut off Gazas power supply to punish the population.

Think for yourself. I know killing peoples brothers, and other family members will never make them respect or value your way of life. People are still using 911 as and excuse to kill more people. How many US troops have now die to bring democracy to the region. Democracy has to be fought for by the people who's country it is. You cant just force it on people or you become the oppressor. Our laws are based on Christian belief so they will never work in the Muslim world.
