there is but u can only free roam during the story. if u want to after u beat the game, u hav to start a new game and it should let u keep all of the upgrades u had. it let me keep them. but after i beat the story on good and bad sides, my upgrades were lost when i started another new game to free roam.

Looks pretty mediocre.

Doing the same aerial combos over and over again looks like it would get really boring. And just like the previous Spiderman games, when you get to certain points in a combo, it looks like a complete mess of punches and kicks.

The only things that looks better are the camera and the web animations in my opinion.

in my opinion this spider man looks like a winner. the combat system looks amazing. the fact that you can link your attack combos in a constant flow on the ground and amazingly in mid air is not only simplistic but visceral, cool cinematic with its slow motion and camera angle changes, and downright addictingly fun. plus you can switch between red and black spider man each with different abilities and the game has multiple endings.
