I also went many times from London mostly in summer to Polizzi and to other Madonie towns and also the Sicilian Nebrodi mountain towns -travelling very much on foot. Of course I would not do that for 20 years or more if the mafia was a big problem. I appreciate the effort of this video but of itself I don't see how it especially challenges mafia propaganda ideas about Sicily. I know the streets and places shown in the video. FACT:when you first arrive in polizzi its very foggy. That is what the people of the town say. But in reality the fog is clouds the tonw is that high up. You mush go there in August they have a feast and people from all over go its amazing

Nicely done! You had guts to keep the camera rolling. What? Did you arrive at dawn? I LOVE seeing those streets. What were your first impressions? You don't know it maybe, but Polizzi is the most beautiful mountain town in Sicily, and I have made a career of visiting Sicilian mountain towns.
