I used to work for Leroy Ah Chot in the 80s giving surf lessons.

I lived in the Hawaiian Monarch on the 39th floor with my GF when the Blue Angels were doing an airshow. They flew right by our window, you could see their faces...

Good times back then.

I was surfing "threes" that day. The lifeguards on jet skis kept chasing us to just inside the impact zone. Have no idea why. The jets were flying right over us. Great day. Great surf. Lots of fun.
