The problem is that you can interpret the Qu'ran in so many different ways because there are numerous contradictions. Yes it says there no compulsion in religion but that is abrogated in many later surahs with Mohammad/God commanding Muslims to peruse/fight/enslave/kill non-believers. It is these surahs that concern me as some Muslims follow and act on the later surahs daily.

The Old Testament IS the law and is no longer followed. It's hard for a Muslim to understand that because you have to slavishly follow the Koran even though it contradicts itself. The problem is that you can interpret the Qu'ran in so many different ways because there are numerous contradictions. Yes it says there no compulsion in religion but that is abrogated in many later surahs with Mohammad/God commanding Muslims to peruse/fight/enslave/kill non-believers. It is these surahs that concern me as some Muslims follow and act on the later surahs daily.

Once again , there is no law in ISlam that says that if someone is raped , she either has to get stoned or she has to go to jail . Today we have so many websites that hate Islam , that if such verses or hadith existed you would have found it online. Please research it and let me know if im wrong. You will find something else though

@TheFestivelights Then like you know it would be unfair to stone a lady because she got raped . This doesnt make any sense . This is not Shariah law my friend . Nowhere in the Quran you will see that if a lady is raped we have to kill the lady . So if what you are telling me is true , and those people did it on purpose , they will certainly will have a lot to pay in the here-after.

@doudson1 I hope you're not suggesting France's colonial past is the reason why this poor girl was 'murdered'.Don't you feel any sadness or shame that this was done in the name of your God and Islam?As a Muslim, if you had been asked to participate in the stoning,would you have protested or would you have complied? @TheFestivelights well first of all i was not telling you france was the reason of the stoning , not at all , i was just anticipating your next question , but you havent asked it yet. Secondly stoning is very harsh , i dont wish to participate or to witness it . But if i had to take place in a justify stoning i would have done it , with no joy , but rather tears in my heart. WOuld have been this particular stoning n i knew for a fact that she was innocent , Yes i would have spoken up .

@TheFestivelights Whenever you hear DSK , you automatically assume that he raped the lady . SO to the whole world he was guilty , but thanks to his fortune the judges decided he was not guilty . IF you or I were DSK we would have been found guilty and we would have been in jail for years , then stigmatize by the society. Then another example , you can have a one night stand with one lady , the next day she wakes up and she claims to the police that u raped her . You see

@TheFestivelights And aggree or not but as soon as a lady accused you of rape , you are guilty and the society will treat you as so . Is DSK guilty i honestly have no idea. That is why in Islam a lady cannot just accuse someone of rape unless she has 4 witnesses . But Islam did not stop there , Islam made it impossible for a lady to get raped . First of all a lady should be covered so that she doesnt attract lust .

@TheFestivelights Then a lady should always be with one family relative when she goes out ( husband brother , uncle ) THis is to protect her . A lady should never be alone with a man in ISlam . You see all those rules is to protect the women . if you see all the ladies who get raped , most of them did not have a protector with them and were alone with an unknown man . Being raped is not a crime in Islam but accusing someone of something without proofs is a crime
