Torture only works for obtaining false confessions. The person performing the torture wouldn't know when to stop the torture unless he already knew what he wanted to hear, that is why "evidence" and "confessions" obtained through torture are not admissable in court. It was all shot in a small secret place in Qatar. The Qatari prince was cooperating with the western govs using his giant news channel Aljazeera. They have built fake replicas of Libyan cities and they shoot their fake vids there. Not a big city but big enough to carry what they want to do. Do more search on google and you will find out.

@eagles980 what we have seen then shocked us... the media (all the major news stations including the two big arab news stations owned by Qatar and Gulf countries) started showing horrific videos and testimonies of people who claim that Ghaddaffi's men shot them dead and BOMBED their towns... and that he sent mercenaries who killed thousands... Ghaddaffi came live in the green square and told us it never happened. The media was lying... Few believed him

@MrHardCash While it's interesting to hear the perspective of a Libyan citizen on the civil war that just recently occurred, much of what you're saying doesn't make sense. If the footage of Libyan soldiers committing violent acts against their own people is doctored and false, where did it come from? Unless you're saying that NATO somehow managed to gather crowds of your own people and masquerade as the Libyan military, I have a hard time believing you.

it doesn't make sense because over 95% of the story is hidden from you. Of course it doesn't make sense from your perspective.... It is never mentioned in the media. In fact, most of the top major tv news stations are intentionally fabricating lies about what happened, and hence, don't want you to know the truth. @eagles980 Most of the propaganda was of course fake news (with fake reports) and interviews with anti-Ghaddaffi people living outside libya who are treated as if they were political analysts... they don't have a clue about what was happening there and yet they talk as if they are there and saw what happened... you can even notice that they never show the other side of the story.. it is always the anti-ghaddaffi people (only once in every 3 months or so, they give 2 mins to a gov rep)

@eagles980 when the gov representer is asked and he says these are fake reports and the videos are fake videos, they give him the look as if he was crazy and cut him off.. then they go back to the other opposition side... the anti-gov guy and dedicate 2 hours or so with him, most of which is dedicated towards laughing at that official and trying to make him look as if he is a lunatic for simply questioning the credibility of the news station. I can show you some fake footage examples

It was all shot in a small secret place in Qatar. The Qatari prince was cooperating with the western govs using his giant news channel Aljazeera. They have built fake replicas of Libyan cities and they shoot their fake vids there. Not a big city but big enough to carry what they want to do. Do more search on google and you will find out.

@eagles980 even that video of the rebels seizing tripoli (before they actually seized it) .. that video of them cheering inside Ghaddaffi's complex with the hand statue is FAKE.... they did the mistake of not mimicing the details and libyans figured it out. Of course, non libyans don't know the details, but there are smart non libyans who picked on it and showed the differences between the real statue and the fake one here on youtube and on their sites.

@eagles980 They released that video when they were crushed by Ghaddaffi's forces in Tripoli.... when the tripoli citizens were hiding in their homes with their weapons ready to defend whoever tries to infiltrate their homes.
That fake video of the fake tripoli victory was broadcasted by the media...in the same time, NATO dropped paper notes from the sky telling libyans that Tripoli has fallen now under their control. This is what set hell lose. People believed them and chaos happened

@eagles980 the same time they broadcasted that video, they claimed they have captured Sa3di and Saif Al-Islam... they wanted to even exaggerate... Saif then immeidately (the same day) appeared surrounded by his supporters telling people they are lying and they didn't capture him.
Aljazeera and BBC were shocked by the immediate comeback and were FORCED to blame the rebels for stating false news that they supposedly weren't part of.

NATO wasn't part of the fabrication operation. They were only part of the military side of the operation. The fabrication was done by Qatar and CIA intelligence there. And they not only used the libyan terrorists who were in guantanamo, but the majority of them weren't even libyans. Most were tunisian and egyptians.

That guy first of all is NOT libyan, but Tunisian. He talks in Tunisian accent. He was never a pilot in Libya. Because other people can't differentiate between the libyan accent and the tunisian accent, they didn't notice, but Libyans know

@eagles980 We were in Tripoli then... then the media started showing regions INSIDE tripoli.... shootings, bombings... people running screaming.... Ghaddaffi did this, Ghaddaffi did that.... the funny thing they claimed it was happening right now, and these regions are the SAME regions we were living in... people started calling each other in diff regions and all said that what was claimed in their regions never took place! They showed the area in front of my home bombed and I was there!

NATO isn't even organized enough to provide support for many of the other countries going through just as much, if not more, turmoil that what you've seen in your own. What makes you think that they have enough power and influence to control the media of your own country while creating conflict that didn't exist? Not to mention the fact that if all the news was lying, how could you have gotten a perspective of the situation as a whole without relying of Gaddafi?

@eagles980 one of them is Aljazeera (owned by the Qatari prince) and recently discovered has an american top manager who has ties to the US gov. (you can do a search on it)... if you do more research, you will find out they did the SAME thing during the Iraq war. I'm reflecting back now, and I remember when the Iraqi information Minister, Saeed Alsahaf used to say "they are lying. It is all fake" and we thought he was crazy!

@eagles980 I didn't know that the truth would spread that fast, but more and more people are waking up and discovering they were lied to by Aljazeera... the prince was recently booed in Tunisia and a huge crowd of Tunisians gathered protesting and saying "People want.. removal of the Prince!" instead of "removal of the president" (the famous arab spring phrase).... in Egypt, they also discovered they were lied to and they recently burned the Qatar flag and have anti-jazeera banners
