  • @Tessasdadd0 Gandhi, Dr. King, JFK, and Bobby Kennedy were all assassinated in the Days of Change. Do you really want to go there?

  • @avide1234 Amen.

  • Perfect speech!

  • Kinda like the marine who killed 24 ppl gets off, but Bradley Manning is facing a court martial for exposing someone wrongfully killing innocents.

  • control of the public discourse; make the focus on bradley manning, not what he exposed, who he exposed or how sick the acts he showed where.

Mainstream media play into their controlled discourse by things like this.

"You see what I want you to see, and you turn into whatever I want you to be. Whatever be, enemy or ally."

to break the cycle, stop focusing on their talking points, and focus on the bigger issues. If not, your a tool working for the destruction of your country.

  • Obama and Bush are War Criminals. Bring back the Nuremberg trials principles.

  • Excellent.

  • The topic is infuriating, but, luckily the subtitles are just awful.

  • if you voted for Change you were an idiot

  • lets all agree that Obama sucks....it's easy, ok all together now......1....2....3...."Obama sucks"

  • Sgt Wuterich's -the only defendent in the Haditha massacre of 24 unarmed civilian family members in several neighborhood houses was 3 months sentence ---but not for murder but for "dereliction of duty" and I believe that his sentence was suspended.

He just rolled grenades into their front doors...killing women babies elderly.

    Justice delayed is Justice denied.

  • Want Real Chg? Vote 4 Green Party & Independents instead of doingsame ol' thing of voting for Republican-Democratic Corrupt-cult for the Big Bucked Corporations who use violence, torture and bribery to gain power. I will not vote for the War Criminal Obama, if Chilean convicted torturer Pinochet or Afghanistan Gen. Dostum were running, I wouldn't care what they promised; I would know what they DID. Obama authorized 100 Yemen civilians killed to blame al Qaeda & tortured nor the other bigots.

  • unBELIEVABLE

  • I don't understand the rant. After all he is complaining about, he has said Obama is a better choice than anyone else and he would vote for Obama again. This is a baseless rant, nothing more.

  • this is a great story, but TYT are just... terrible. is there a way to mute out this guy's douchiness?

  • America = Land of the not so free, and the home of the slaves, and I don't mean black people. I mean everyone in the USA apart from the 1% that controls and enslaves the majority of the population. The more y'all do nothing to combat corruption, the more the corruption will thrive and multiply, until you have fucking nothing left to call your own. It's gonna happen, and when it does y'all wont be able to do a thing to reverse the evil of your corrupt insane religious government. I warned you.

  • @SirGrowalott Too late bro. Might want to invent time travel and go back to before Reagan's presidency if you really want to warn us in time.

  • The captions are fucking hilarious

  • American people, why the fuck do you people listen to Obama and his evil insane corrupt friends? My god, how dumb can ya'll be eh? CORRUPTION is the blood of the USA, for shame.

  • No one likes a snitch. Not even the government.

  • Land of the free...

  • thats what we get get for the breaking the combo of white presidents

  • lol americans are so fucked up

  • america makes me sick

  • @OnCoGoD me too

  • I LOVE the young turks!!! you dont hear this type of shit anywhere else!! THANK YOU

  • Good job on the subtitles.

  • @j00manji subtitles are automatic

  • Fuckin Pigs !

  • FUCK FUCKITY FUCK FUCK FUCK OBAMA

  • The government is evil and not for its people.

  • meh..this types of bullshit happens in my country all the time..

  • Not bad Young Turks. Never use to like your show but you guys are stepping it up =]

  • closed caption fail

  • *Hope* you don't get indefinitely detained.

  • Obama looks like the devil picures that were in Chick Publications leaflets in the 80s

  • It's like standing up for a friend no matter how wrong he is.

  • All Americans earning less than $80,000 a year should be thrown in prison.

  • using the espionage act for SLAPP bullshit is the biggest travesty ever. Obama's entire administration should be impeached.

  • @jwray42 Yeah and then John McCain would take his place... Wo ho...

  • @2Critical4You McCain had it right: Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran

  • @jwray42 Impeached? Bullshit the current and past administration should be charged with treason. Whats next charging people for expressing their Constitutional rights...

  • @eightbowl

you are gonna try to sit here and say he didn't do anything wrong by charging someone with espionage over someting WE ALREADY KNOW ABOUT? We know people get waterboarded so why the fuck is it a big deal to Obama. He's gonna be out of office after this term so who cares.

  • Is there a reason for the subtitles to be inaccurate. every vid subtitles are wrong

  • @R4NDYS4V4GE The subtitles are done by voice recognition software, which isn't perfect.

  • @scooby1971 kk thks for the info. They could fill in the incorrect bits tho, i bet it strange to read for people who don't speak good english or deaf.

  • So this guy is actually gonna get a trial!? Why bother with the pretense?

  • All I can say is please show me an attorney who will stand up to all this over reach of power!

  • Shit country. Hey, here´s an idea: start that revolution already and the world a better place. That´s the only thing that´s gonna bring any real change. There´s no other way.

  • The department of Just Us protects the department of offenders.

  • The CIA backed fascist dictatorships in the Cold War to bring freedom to the world. The CIA employed every discriminate use of objectively unjustified violence to rid humanity of terrorism. Al-Qaeda are pathetic as far as the CIA are concerned; they'd know, because they've been in the game of state-sponsored terrorism for 64 years.

  • CIA AGENT? its stan!

  • VOTE FOR CHANGE!!!...for better or for the worst...probably the worst...

  • I'm just waiting for the day they come for us over our youtube channel!

  • 1984

  • How the fuck can you continue to support this puppet? Cenk I love you but sometimes you are incredibly naive.

  • 50 Cenk they're coming for you next

  • Obama + Libtards = Fascism

  • Why did obama even get the noble peace prize, its horrible!

  • @BlueSuperNova88 The noble peace prize lost its credibility long ago. Even before Obama got it.

These things are now simply bought and given to support and server specific political goals.

  • Just another example Cenk of why we need to vote Obama out - 'Change' we can't believe in!

  • "two plus two equals five"

when you think about it George Orwell was only off by like two or three decades...

  • SOPA, NDAA, Espionage Act, Police brutality (especially on Occupy). Nazi America.

  • UK: DO NOT COPY US! For fucks sake don't you dare copy our policies. I know you got your own problems but copying us will doom your country.

  • TYT----- Everything that the government does is Obamas fault

  • @thelousyllama Republicans - everything we do is Obama's fault.

  • @thelousyllama You're completely missing the point. Obama, at the very least, is enabling these policies by allowing them to continue unabated. At the worst, he's carrying them out himself and silencing individuals seeking to expose the government's hideous actions by prosecuting them to the full extent of the law. Non of these signify the change we elected the man to usher in as president.

  • I can't keep waiting for a Revolution I know now will never come.

    .

Sorry guys, I'm out. See ya on the other side of madness.

  • when is the justice Department going to charge the CIA with protecting its employees who murdered President Kennedy?

  • @BenjiREC Indeed, you don't know everything. In fact, you appear to not know anything about Libya.

  • killing 24 people = only 3 months in jail ???? (maybe???)

    Jesus freaking christ!!!

Lets say an iraqi civilan was charged with murdering an american soldier? what would the verdict be for that? Im pretty sure it wouldnt be anywhere near 3 months!

What does this tell the rest of the world about America???

This is the meaning of disgrace....

  • Where is that Mazahir Hussein quote from?

  • Been saying it's the same hand changing the puppet being worn, using good-cop(obama-romeny) vs BAD OLE SCARY COP (really Repugnicans) to get you to vote to continue their power hegemony.

  • CIA deals in drugs and torture. The CIA runs opium out of Afghanistan. The CIA trained Los Zetas in Mexico. Holder along with the Bush administration sent guns to Mexican drug lords in the Fast and Furious program. Who cares about the Constitution, rights are for the oligarchy like Rumsfeld. Only 24 Arabs were killed not men, right? Soon that honorable soldier will be walking the street.

  • Obama told the world how many nukes we have. And in secret probably told people where they are.

  • "what happened to the change we voted for"

That should be the slogan for all of us who voted for Obama.

this election when we have nobody else to vote for other than Obama or the lunatics from the GOP we should be chanting that slogan instead of "yes we can". but still vote for him because lets be honest, he's still the lesser of the evil's that are our only options.

  • DOJ are Dodjy

  • Does anybody believe anything that Obama says anymore? If you do, you should go see a shrink to find out why because there is definitley something wrong with you.

  • crooked american justice system? what a surprise....

  • lol what happened? america has a long proud history of committing war crimes and atrocities the natives the philipines come right to mind and its standard operating procedure men women children culture destroy we get to push our chest out proud and give america a good wrap over ww2 and thats really where the idealistic bullshit comes from but lets be real the nazis were movin in on our turf and we used a boatload of civilians on a legit target to lie our way into it.

  • Comment removed

  • That is so f*****g disgusting. How can anyone hold any value in the justice system in the US after that? We need to stand up to things like this and stop being f*****g sheep.

  • @Bloodrazor666 it's called writ of Habeus Corpus and its supposed to protect people from anything before they get in a court trial its in the constitution that our president takes a oath to protect its not being protected by this

  • I don't live in the States, so I'm just asking a question. Cenk said there were 3 instances of using the Espionage act. That was the act they used to get the Rosenbergs back in the 50s. that's 2. Who was the other guy?

  • president all mama ? lol

  • I hope someone reads this... i feel like cenk is really understating the sensory deprivation of jose padilla, he didnt hear or see anything for over 3 years, complete darkness and silence: Padilla had become so "shattered" that he became convinced his lawyers were part of a continuing interrogation program and saw his captors as protectors

  • I actually read Kirikaou's book (the Reluctant Spy). For someone who served his country as long and as faithfully as he has, he's clearly getting mistreated.

  • Eric Holder came to speak at my school. He's an idiot. He defended the Obama administration's idiotic decisions by shooting out propaganda. When I asked him about the NDAA, he barely answered it, claiming that Obama signed it for certain parts and that the permanent detainment aspect is "undergoing revisions", then went on a five minute rant about Guantanamo Bay.

We can't have the right-wing candidates in office next term, but we need to find better candidates in 2016 for BOTH parties. Period.

  • @djanitatiana You are spot on in questioning whether they did say 'less rules. more engagement' My feeling is that based on the testimony they couldnt establish that or they woulf have tried him for murder, along with my own experiences , I tend to believe he acted out of fear not malice

  • @donesco40 i'm with you there. There was a huge rush, via Shock'n'Awe to get to 'Mission Accomplished'. But once the sexy glam was off political interest dwindled to zero. Result was zero forward vision, poorly defined military goals, outsourced 'defence'. I think that the loose ROE / EOF came from that vacuum. Look at Libya, it was textbook civilian protection.

  • @djanitatiana I was in Libya during the beginning of the libyan events. 95%+ of what the media claimed was pure utter BS! Lies after lies

It reached a point when they started broadcasting complete FAKE videos, including the video of my home region supposedly being bombed live by Ghaddaffi when we were right there & nothing as such ever happened! Scary really

Libyans know the truth, but it is too late and dangerous to say the truth now. This whole thing was a huge media propaganda campaign.

  • Just wondering why no one can see the men behind the curtain pulling all the strings behind every single President. The Presidents were selected because they were controlled over a very long period of time. Many, their whole lives or a majority of their lives. Bush JR was mentored since Yale when he was in his early 20's, same with Clinton, and Obama. Come on WE MUST GET RID OF THOSE CONTROLLING, THE KHAZAR BANKERS, INTERNATIONALISTS WITH NO LOYALTY TO ANY COUNTRY, only to each other.

  • No proof. Just words

  • And the marine convicted of the haditha murder spree-NO JAIL TIME.

    WHY?

Because the "conviction is the punishment" according to the court.

  • Damn! You can't see *any* red on the rating bar. Maybe the country is waking up now.

  • @djanitatiana Was Justice Served After Haditha Killings? PBS NEWSHOUR

I think Bing West makes good points. Also search for the drone footage. Again I say there was a reason the prosecution did not seek murder charges and ended up reaching a plea

  • @donesco40 Thanks for the link, an intelligent discussion that finished on the point the underpins all this. Agree with you that Bing's point that he didn't believe that they were motivated by an intent to kill civilians. But Solis is questioning whether the boys said 'less rules, more engagement' once they were in the shit. I think that's the pointy end that the court's had no hope of addressing. I'll have a look for that drone stuff, thx.

  • Jonathan Pollard, a Jew, was sentenced to life in prison for leaking US secrets to Israel.

    No death sentence.

  • @djanitatiana At no point did i say he shouldn't be punished! He is guilty of criminal negligence in my eyes. I say soapbox because given how fare removed you are from the situation it seem bogus to me to judge this man so harshly without a complete picture.

His orders from the Lt were to clear the houses, the failure in leadership came by not specifying in what matter. Please note that marines had been killed in that town by shots fired through doors as they approached to knock

  • @donesco40 apologies then, I did think that was your position.

  • Torture only works for obtaining false confessions. The person performing the torture wouldn't know when to stop the torture unless he already knew what he wanted to hear, that is why "evidence" and "confessions" obtained through torture are not admissable in court. Interesting how America didn't "need" to torture until 9/11 but then, I guess the govt. has to hold its stupid conspiracy therory as to how 9/11 happeed together somehow.

  • @djanitatiana EOF at this time was not cleary defined for dealing with combatants in buildings. His LT told him to clear houses that were deemed hostile, he hastily chose to clear by grenades. In his mind he followed his interpretation of eof. This incident resulted in changes to eof. How much emotions played a role in this is only known by the boots on the ground. Why must we assume he had intentions of killing unarmed civillians?

  • the president is not in charge of these things. there is different agencies in the government that deal with this type of shit.

  • Wasn't there a committee meeting in Congress about this waterboarding at Gitmo. This is a bunch of bull. Practically everything was disclosed in the meeting, why throw someone in jail over it now.

  • Negligence is the term to describe his actions not murder

  • @djanitatiana Have you read anything about what happened? Or are you judging everything of news clips? By no means am I defending his actions, but there was not intent tokill civillians. He wanted to protect his marines and did so miserably.

  • @donesco40 I've read mostly what's out there on the usual news sources, the NYT transcripts etc. I'd appreciate a link to anything that strongly substantiates your point of view. I would agree with you that there are many Marines and US military personnel who have very high standards and are fighting . My take is the ROE & escalating proportional force went out the window and Wuterich (and others )should have accepted his responsibility in the result.

  • This is why you should never donate money to a campaign or a candidate. Donate to a cause, not a person. You're better off giving your money to the ACLU and empowering an organization who will hold our asshole leaders accountable.

  • @djanitatiana You are right taking lives is absolutely not fair, and this was a tragedy. But if you are naive enough to believe that other coalition nations dont have major fuckups in leadership like this that result in deaths then you need to expand your thinking and your exposure. This was highly unprofessional, but for people to dissect decisions he had seconds to make while fearing for his life is ridiculous. He made horrible decisions, but you have no right to judge from your soapbox

  • @donesco40 It's not a soapbox buddy. Opinion, just like yours, informed to best of our ability given how removed we are from the primary sources. You're right, he had seconds to decide but didn't he have years of training? Maybe not. But I can't agree with you that his failure of leadership should have virtually no consequences. His actions certainly have, including putting Americans at hugely more risk across the world.

  • What happened to you guys?? Who are the good guys?

  • Let's hope there are some good investigative reporters looking into Kiriakou's relationship with Sen. John Kerry(D-MA). It seems the treasonous Kiriakou served as member of Kerry's staff.

It's no coincidence that Kerry showed up in public with two black eyes (from a broken nose) during the same week that Kiriakou was arrested. I suspect CIA Director Petraeus took Kerry aside and gave him a beatdown for being complicit in Kiriakou's treason.

  • obama is a war criminal. bush jr is a war criminal. cheney is a war criminal. send the whole lot to the hague.

  • @thewiffenpoof Whys Obama a war criminal?

  • @DarkPrince0fWGTN All the crimes commited under the Bush administration are now his crimes due to the fact he DID NOTHING about them after taking office.

  • @wistoncap Well i was hoping for specifics. What crimes did George Bush commit? Which international laws were broken?

  • @DarkPrince0fWGTN this has got to be one of the most stupidest questions ever. If we start listing the crimes Bush committed, we will never end talking. You think you are smart trying to dig hole into what specific laws he broke?

Do more research. There are a TON... many of which was never discussed in the media or given attention to.

  • @DarkPrince0fWGTN as for Obama, I'll give you a simple example. His gov was the one staging and planning this whole arab spring thing, using massive media propaganda to fool the public and they succeeded.

I was in Libya during the beginning of the libyan events and what I've seen there will seem to you like a fairytale.

  • @DarkPrince0fWGTN Over 95% of what the media claimed was happening in Libya was pure utter BS!

  • Valerie Plame was outed by high ranking officials and not much happened to them except for Cheney's fall guy, "Scooter" Libby. Going by that precedent, Kiriakou should have no worries, eh? Unfortunately for him, his name is not Dick Cheney!

  • I wonder if al-Qaida has any greater recruiting tool than pointing out Americans consider that breaking into the houses of 24 civilians and executing them including women and children, is not a crime. Despite the controversy in the States, that's the only message that makes it out.

Those burnt out loony Marines may have avenged their buddies death but may have sealed the fate of planeloads of Americans at the same time. Letting the perpetrators off only multiplies that likelyhood.

  • @djanitatiana Well considering that Al-Qaida mainly attacks fellow Muslims, i doubt they give a shit. You do realise that almost all the civilian death over the past 10 years in iraq has been cause by islamic extremists and baathist supporters right?

  • @DarkPrince0fWGTN You're very right - they don't give a shit. They recruit children, people with learning disabilities, every low trick in the book for their missions. However they fund their activities by perpetuating the idea that USA is a Crusader nation that doesn't respect Muslim life. To it's credit US has made big steps in countering this since Iraq.

  • @djanitatiana - Don't you remember what Kissinger said about our soldiers??? OUR CHILDREN??? Kissinger said, "soldiers are idiots and only good as fodder for our wars"

The fat old ugly pig said that about our children. He is a pervert and piglet. I hate insulting pigs.

  • @DarkPrince0fWGTN You do realise that there was never one single alqaeda member in Iraq before the US invasion?

You do realise that alqaeda and islamic extremists are the best buddies of the CIA and they carry operations there just to delay withdrawals of the US from there?

You do realize that the libyan rebels were actually alqaeda members who were let out of guantanamo, trained, funded and sent to Libya to take out Ghaddaffi?

    I guess not.

  • @MrHardCash These are some heavy charges. You better have some legitimately documented evidence and credible sources to back up these claims. Keep in mind that none of these are outside the realm of possibility (I know the U.S. government helped fund Al Qaeda before 9/11), but you can't go around stating them as fact without proof.

  • @eagles980 My friend... I was in Libya during the beginning of the libyan events. Read my other comments and details on this page. We have personally witnessed stuff that most people outside libya will never even imagine.

If you were serious about finding the truth, you'd have done a simple online research, but the problem with people who are media brainwashed, is that they don't wanna change their opinions because then it'd be a hard time re-considering every other old incident

  • @MrHardCash You say the media was heavily in favor of the rebels protesting Gaddafi, but wasn't the government, controlled by your former dictator in chief, dictating what did and did not end up on the news? Wasn't it Gaddafi that described the rebels as influenced by Bin Laden and as heavy drug users, using the media? I don't know whether or not you supported Gaddafi (the answer is apparent, though), but these are some concrete facts that contradict yours.

What do you have to say?

  • @eagles980 and I'm not basing my judgement on what the Libyan television said (I'll talk about that later) or otherwise. I'm basing my judgement on what we have personally seen and witnessed.

Let me tell you something: when people saw what has happened in Tunisia and Egypt, they thought it was good and that it will happen in Libya (even though the majority were with Ghaddaffi, but they wanted him to accelerate establishment of the new democratic libyan constitution)..... (continued...)

  • @eagles980 what we have seen then shocked us... the media (all the major news stations including the two big arab news stations owned by Qatar and Gulf countries) started showing horrific videos and testimonies of people who claim that Ghaddaffi's men shot them dead and BOMBED their towns... and that he sent mercenaries who killed thousands... Ghaddaffi came live in the green square and told us it never happened. The media was lying... Few believed him

  • @MrHardCash While it's interesting to hear the perspective of a Libyan citizen on the civil war that just recently occurred, much of what you're saying doesn't make sense. If the footage of Libyan soldiers committing violent acts against their own people is doctored and false, where did it come from? Unless you're saying that NATO somehow managed to gather crowds of your own people and masquerade as the Libyan military, I have a hard time believing you.

  • @eagles980 "much of what you're saying doesn't make sense."

it doesn't make sense because over 95% of the story is hidden from you. Of course it doesn't make sense from your perspective.... It is never mentioned in the media. In fact, most of the top major tv news stations are intentionally fabricating lies about what happened, and hence, don't want you to know the truth. As scary as it may sound, this is the reality of the situation (reading your other comments now)

  • @eagles980 "If the footage of Libyan soldiers committing violent acts against their own people is doctored and false"

Give me every single footage and I'll show you how it is fake. Starting with the notorious yellow hats men in benghazi. I am telling you, this is serious shit going on here... hollywood production movies that fooled even us in the beginning (before they took it to our city, tripoli, and we discovered it was fake)...

  • @eagles980 Most of the propaganda was of course fake news (with fake reports) and interviews with anti-Ghaddaffi people living outside libya who are treated as if they were political analysts... they don't have a clue about what was happening there and yet they talk as if they are there and saw what happened... you can even notice that they never show the other side of the story.. it is always the anti-ghaddaffi people (only once in every 3 months or so, they give 2 mins to a gov rep)

  • @eagles980 when the gov representer is asked and he says these are fake reports and the videos are fake videos, they give him the look as if he was crazy and cut him off.. then they go back to the other opposition side... the anti-gov guy and dedicate 2 hours or so with him, most of which is dedicated towards laughing at that official and trying to make him look as if he is a lunatic for simply questioning the credibility of the news station. I can show you some fake footage examples

  • @eagles980 even that video of the rebels seizing tripoli (before they actually seized it) .. that video of them cheering inside Ghaddaffi's complex with the hand statue is FAKE.... they did the mistake of not mimicing the details and libyans figured it out. Of course, non libyans don't know the details, but there are smart non libyans who picked on it and showed the differences between the real statue and the fake one here on youtube and on their sites.

  • @eagles980 They released that video when they were crushed by Ghaddaffi's forces in Tripoli.... when the tripoli citizens were hiding in their homes with their weapons ready to defend whoever tries to infiltrate their homes.

That fake video of the fake tripoli victory was broadcasted by the media...in the same time, NATO dropped paper notes from the sky telling libyans that Tripoli has fallen now under their control. This is what set hell lose. People believed them and chaos happened

  • @eagles980 the same time they broadcasted that video, they claimed they have captured Sa3di and Saif Al-Islam... they wanted to even exaggerate... Saif then immeidately (the same day) appeared surrounded by his supporters telling people they are lying and they didn't capture him.

Aljazeera and BBC were shocked by the immediate comeback and were FORCED to blame the rebels for stating false news that they supposedly weren't part of.

  • @MrHardCash Could you give me some links to those videos, please.

  • @eagles980 you know how the rebels reacted to that? They told Aljazeera and BBC (live on air)... "this is not important! we will capture him anyway! why are you even broadcasting what he is saying!".....

  • @eagles980 "Unless you're saying that NATO somehow managed to gather crowds of your own people and masquerade as the Libyan military"

NATO wasn't part of the fabrication operation. They were only part of the military side of the operation. The fabrication was done by Qatar and CIA intelligence there. And they not only used the libyan terrorists who were in guantanamo, but the majority of them weren't even libyans. Most were tunisian and egyptians.

  • @eagles980 We were in Tripoli then... then the media started showing regions INSIDE tripoli.... shootings, bombings... people running screaming.... Ghaddaffi did this, Ghaddaffi did that.... the funny thing they claimed it was happening right now, and these regions are the SAME regions we were living in... people started calling each other in diff regions and all said that what was claimed in their regions never took place! They showed the area in front of my home bombed and I was there!

  • @MrHardCash Part 2

NATO isn't even organized enough to provide support for many of the other countries going through just as much, if not more, turmoil that what you've seen in your own. What makes you think that they have enough power and influence to control the media of your own country while creating conflict that didn't exist? Not to mention the fact that if all the news was lying, how could you have gotten a perspective of the situation as a whole without relying of Gaddafi?

  • @eagles980 the other main news channel is Alarabiya in the UAE.... not as old as Aljazeera, but the ping pong back and forth the same propaganda, because the policy of their owners are the same.

Also have you seen what has happened to the Qatari prince during his recent visit to Tunisia?
