  • Fake and gay!

  • @mrbond9876

    Oh, true

  • 0:16 Theres debris flying up, and just when the shockwave hits and camera shakes, theres no debris falling down after that. wth?

Stuff is just about to stop at highest point where they start falling down, and camera isnt that long pointing away to miss em before theyre down on ground.

  • better than any cgi

  • Omg

  • Awesome shock wave!

  • You were at 1870 metres away from the explosion, I did some math :). But anyway nice BOOOOM...

  • 0:15 well that was cool. 0:20 fuck me that was loud

  • Translation:

    - Nadia, you took off the explosion at the camera?

    - Yes.

    - What is it explode?

    - It's horrible. Horror, I was even thrown from the window.

  • Did you see when the wave hit him? Look at 00:15 and then just few seconds later it hits him.

    people don't know this.

  • @KoSoVaAnGeL Ooo so u think uR the only guy who know about expansive shock waves, the law and speed of sound and all that physical things? well if u do its not truth i luv this stuff

  • @P08HO When I said people don't know this I was refering to the guy holding the camera and not knowing anything about the schockwave that did hit him. Did I say P08HO does not know it?

  • Amazing

  • Ludzie, przecież to lipa, co to ma ze Smoleńskiem wspólnego?? Filmik jest z 2009 roku! Można go znależć na YT...

  • chuck should stop farting in public

  • That was just Chuck Norris smoking

  • Someone ate to much Beans!

  • It's interesting to see how debris disappear in the air after the guy's reaction to the shock wave.

  • wow!

  • Unexplained massive explosion looking type debris hovering in California Ocean

    watch?v=bTapDECtDq8

  • I like how the debris flies very high and the guy reacts by backing inside

  • 0:14, you can see the Wilson Cloud at the moment of the explosion.

  • That was bush sneezing!!!

  • The explosion sound came 5 seconds after it was seen :O So the sound travels with about 600 meters a second? Interesting!

  • пиздец

  • the boom scared me

  • Holy-Terrorist:>*=* Wow, undelivebele!

  • ... and then the phone rings..... reactions universal.

  • is that 5 kilotons of tnt

it looks like a nuclear explosion

  • It's not fake, you whiny idiots.

  • @treved15 LMAO being called dumb is a lot of abuse to take eh? Shut the fuck up...You obviously don't know shit

  • @treved15 In the words of Antoine Dodson, you are so dumb...

  • It's kind of strange how you see the debris in the air as the shock-wave hits the camera, then he looks up and they're all gone. Given how high they were I wouldn't have figured they'd have fallen out of sight in the short time the camera wasn't looking.

  • @Vire70 yeah i just noticed that as well and when you look at the explosion b4 the shock wave the flames are alot bigger and wider but once the camera focus's again the flame is like half the size and i dont think it would of reduced in size that quickly. especially just after a massive explosion of a fuel source.

    i call shenanigans

  • @ainsleywainsley

On a second glance it is also notable that none of the trees or other things seem to react to the shockwave at all - one would expect to see some degree of bending, or something, if the shockwave was as strong as it appeared, yet all the trees in between the explosion and the camera don't react at all from what I can see.

Even the power lines dont wobble/move.

  • @Vire70 a shock wave is not wind, it is a compression of air, it effects a broader structure much more than a thinner one like a tree or power line. a house is also a rigid hollow structure so the effects of a shock wave are much more dramatic. its like holding an empty water bottle at a concert, it vibrates more than a solid object. and the fire reduces in size quickly bc fuel is expended all at once, hence the explosion. the vid looks weird cause there is no wind and the smoke goes strait up.

  • Damn! Look at the size of that fireball and the debris flying!

  • WTF photo-shopped...

  • chuck norris farted!!

  • sonic boom at 0:15?

  • Comment removed

  • really nice shockwave :)

  • pisdjeeeeds xD russaki wisdje :D

  • chuck noris has diaria again

  • made in china?

  • @gamekiiid made in russia -.-

  • I love how loud explosions are like that

    its fucking intense

  • chuck norris sneezing

  • OMG! holy shit!

  • THAT WAS SIICCKKK !! At first I thought he zoomed into the TV but then I thought " Where are the lines. The camera can shoot the line that the human eye can't see. But when the director backed up it looked sick ! How many megapixels is that camera ( camcorder, phone, etc ) ???????

  • The best part of this is all the debris that flies in the air

  • Woman was like; "So, who´s going to pick up the kids?"

  • Whatever camera they are using is sick. Caught everything well.

  • @luedriver a shockwave is just sound. Sound can travel through almost anything without breaking it. Including glass.

  • that camera man is cool as ice

  • stupid question: how does a shock wave hit you behind a glass window without breaking it?

  • @luedriver Well Shock waves is sound. You can here though walls right? Same thing except just a really big sound. Sound can travel though a lot of stuff.

Now way didn't the glass brake. Well the sonic boom wasn't strong enough and/or at the right frequency to vibrate the glass enough to brake it. They were 2KM away which is like around 1.5 miles, (not exact numbers. just estimated)

so it's not hard to see why it didn't break.

  • Massive shockwave! 0:20

  • You know there are alot of russians here in fla pandhandle but this must be something else the rig wouldnt be that close to land and that huge

chick said must be the club... where is this and wht is this vid anybody know..oil tank not the rig...im sure if it was b.p rig you could see somewht

  • that was bad ass.

  • They're speaking Russian.

  • pakis

  • thats how Micheal Bay was born

  • @bluemanslim lol

  • Faggots, it was a woman recording not a man.

  • wwoo, really amazing

  • Lucky he doesnt have a face full of glass.

  • ыыыыы, отлично, шёпотом так "пииииздец!" :))

  • PIZDEC!

  • Lucky the glass didn't smash!

  • The guy on the phones all like "duuude, did you catch that explosion just now?"

  • what country was this in?

  • @IKILLUWITHAGUN this is Russia

  • Ничего себе двинуло!

  • he's not a cool guy cause he looked at it

  • Goes to show that light moves much faster than sound. well fkn duhhhh

  • its not fake it was in "Destroyed in seconds"

  • I feel sorry for the animals who were in the water o-o

  • looks like an emp

  • That's some extreme example to prove that light moves faster than sound!!! And that's one ubercool cameradude! I'd have yelled my guts out at the awesomeness in front of me!

  • Huh :D

  • The distance of your position from the blast was actually around 1700 metres.

  • Intense.

  • @skynetkkk How is that fake? you idiot its not a shockwave + and once in a lifetime sight = a fake video? your a moron.

  • That is an impressive explosion. About every summer during the monsoon season here in Arizona, this electronic transformer station loses one of it's large transformers to overload. The result is an impressive show of explosions, fire, and a series of blue "fireballs." I've got to get it on video this year.

  • Mathematically it holds up, unless, of course, they knew the exact time to dip the camera and add sound from the force of the shock wave, from approximately 1.95 kilometers, and for some reason I doubt someone posting fake videos to youtube would put that much effort into it

  • Nobody on the internet believes anything is real, even when it actually is. Good job, Youtube. You constantly remind me that there is no "bottom of the barrel" when it comes to how dumb people are.

  • I searched the web for news. But there is nothing. I think many news channel would love a story like that and they would report the explosion somewhere, if this is real. It is fake. A very good fake.

  • @hellheul Obviously you didnt google search "Ulyanovsk, Russia 2009 oil tank explosion" you'll get plenty of stories about it. They dont really cover russian news here.

  • thats fuckin sick! i wish i coulda felt the shock wave

  • Lol these people have the same phone as me!

  • Jesus christ, that looked awesome to be honest

  • If you'd call the sonic wave of clapping hands also a shock wave, it's a shock wave; sound is always a force. I'd only call it shock wave, if it has at least enough power to move the branches of a tree.

  • Wow What's happen...

  • Just imagine an exploding star!

  • To everyone saying it's fake because the trees didn't move it just wasn't a large enough explosion to cause enough force in a shock wave to move objects like trees.

  • How come the trees didn't move?

  • Not a shock wave, just a sonic wave; the camera man startled

  • @glyceroltrinitrat Explosions cause pressure to travel outwards through the air which carries sound and force behind it, it was a shockwave.

  • yah you were approx 2km away i counted the seconds maybe something like around 1800m to 2km the speed of sound is approx 300metters per second so.

  • Wow ! Quel choc !

  • 2 km away..good for you..

  • AOT FTW

  • Comment removed

  • AOTS

  • that waz crazy AOTS RULES!!!

  • fake... tree not move when shock wave hit ..

  • @kamo2134

    hm good point

  • awesome

  • that.....was.....awesome

  • saw this on the aots rerun!!!!!!!!

  • increíble

  • I just saw this on Attack of the Show!!! Kinda wish I coulda watched this for real with you guys.

  • this is the best video i've seen all year

  • So gnarly!!!!! Wow. Really does look like some special effects out of a movie.

  • holy shit! that has to be so fkn badass to watch

  • ...After zoom out, the space above and between pylons is in flames - there is much more fire than before, but because of zoom out, we can't remark that easily. Besides, in 25 second above the green roof we can see a piece of waste for a moment, and, i think i can see somenting falling down in 28 second on the right side of fire.

  • Waste don't disappear. Firstly, before explosion we see zoom in, waste is easly observable. But after it, cameraman takes zoom out, and we can see about 3 or 4 times wider area, so waste is much smaller, besides it rotates so we can't see it same well all time. Secondly, we can see that waste in the moment of explosion is over left and right latern or electricity pylon....

  • so there was absolutely no wind at all that day...?

  • oj diewushka, diewushka, w pizdjet wasze tanki z paliwem ;)

  • aots!

  • lol i saw this on attack of the show "its only a russian fender bender" lol

  • They do dissapear.... (shrapnel in the air)

  • i od razu telefon :D haha

  • looks like fake..

  • Fake, waste disappears after explotion

  • @AlterEgoCL Yeah, that's right eh? The bits in the air do disappear.

  • @AlterEgoCL

    What are you talking about?

  • ooo csm

  • ちゅーどどどーーーん

  • Sigh, you guys should look at the house on the left at 24-27 second mark. You can see black debris falling near it.

  • wow this is actually fake. pause at :19 and you will see the flying debris disappear out of no where!

  • wow that debris flew like 500 feet into the air!

  • @RogerRoids and they suddenly disappeared... fake ;]

  • w pizzzzzzdzjeeeet xD

  • 宮下琢磨

  • those damn Mythbusters

  • at least obama will be pissed, that makes me happy.

  • Huge shrapnel.

  • Holly shit

  • The blast throws some debris up into the air. When the shock wave hits the camera she turns the camera down, but when she looks back at the fire, the debris should still be in the air. It's like it disappears... This is such a mindfuck I cant stand it :(

  • @Zchee It was zoomed and then had to refocus so the debris might not have been visible with less zoom and not as focused. Just a guess.

  • Fake, The particles are gone once sound comes in and the camera goes back.... Check again! 0:12

  • fucking amazing

  • LOl nice shockwave

  • stupid fucking americunts, cant do anything right.

  • @Imaducklol ... You live in America..

  • @gpc510 No, my profile says I do. But I don't, are you fucking retarded? Since when is anything said on the internet the truth? Fucking idiot.

  • @Imaducklol this is in russia...

  • @secoxxx Yeah, I red that later. But if there's a fuck up on video, I always assume it's America, BECAUSE AMERICA FUCKING SUCKS.

  • @Imaducklol yeah because im sure you have every reason in the world to not like the us. you are just some mindless pawn that only knows the us from the media and making assumptions. oh btw, AMERICA is a continent. maybe you should finish school. who's the fucktard now.

  • Nice shockwave!

  • fake

  • in soviet russia, ....

okey that is getting kinda old

  • Comment removed

  • Fakity Fake fake shockwave and debris. As Danforth and DeReal Uno Pointed out the debris magically vanishes exactly one frame into the camera shake and do not return. Also in slow motion the shockwave aura is obviously animated, a shockwave that size would create massive distortions in the surrounding air and would be visible. The actual fire might be real but as for the effects...well as the man in family guy says "you're a phoney!" lol

  • @BambooSteamer If you look closely you can still see the debries fall, it's just that the camera went out of focus after the explosion.

  • @guyv00 Sorry Guyv00 but there is no debris falling when the camera moves, the debris disappears exactly 1 frame into the camera motion...this means the maker of this video doesnt have the compositing skills to keep adding the debris in a shot where the camera is moving rapidly. Download it and analise it for yourself, advance the footage frame by frame and you will see it. I think you are confusing the rain drops on the window with all the rapid movement.

  • Could someone translate what they're saying?

  • Holy shockwave batman!!

  • people saying it's fake because you can't see the shrapnel: Watch the peak of the roof on the left, closest to the right side. You can see the large piece of shrapnel fall behind it.

  • The first fireball that disappears, and has debris flying at 15 seconds is fake. Watch it close. The debris just magically disappears after the shockwave passes? At 21 seconds in, its gone. The fire and smoke is real. Again, it's the fake fireball and debris that disappears.

  • yeah i would think the world is gonna to end seeing that

  • What happend to the debree that exploded into the air? it goes but but dosent go down? thats strange.
