  • MEXICO DOES NOT FUCKING CARE ABOUT WHAT THE U.S MEDIA SAY ......

  • @Xing500:

Weapons are being smuggled into Mexico from all over the world. They are not getting automatic weapons that originate from US dealers. Weapons may be smuggled across the US/Mex border, but they are not weapons that you or I could go into a gunshop and buy.

Another likely source of weapons, ammo is from the cartels' corrupt connections in the police and military... who have automatic weapons by the way.

  • Tengo entendido que no se dice "the people", solo "people". Qué piensan.

  • Have you any idea of how much cost a legal full auto assault rifle in the USA ??? It's a class III , and nobody will sell it below 15 000$ !!! Mexican gun cartels can get those same things at less than 500$ from south america or even China.. You have NO idea of what an ASSAULT RIFLE is.. you have been mixing it with the term "assault weapon" that is a political term, but has NO technical meaning.. DO you really thing they get them from the USA (assault rifles ? ) c'mon, don't be a fool.

  • Well, you seem to think that you know a lot about the weapons black market, but also fail to grasp the power criminal organazations have. Do you think they can't afford giving each of their members a class III weapon?

  • I surely think they won't buy them in the USA at 30x the price and the risk of getting caught by the ATF, when they can buy them from China or south america for 300$ each..

  • "original 2nd amendment was made to allow "we the people" to overthrow our Gov in case of tyranny. Back then the Gov had muskets, today the Gov has got F-15, F-16, F-22s and aircraft carriers. "

So, according to your weird logic, the 1st amendment only applies to pens, small printer and paper ? Not to the radio, television, and internet.

ps: back then the gov had : Battleships, cavalery, and canons.

    You're pointless.

  • stop being historically illiterate. People had militias. And militias were actually larger than the regular army. Militias had canons, and cavalry too. And they did pick up their guns and rebelled (4 the wrong reasons), it was called the Civil war. + U need to learn about people like John Lock and the influence of the English civil war on the founding fathers and their thinking. They argued that (property holders) had the right to overthrow their government in case if it ever became tyrannical.

  • madrid23:

Sounds like you might actually want to read something by John LOCKE, and also read the US laws relating to assault weapons, and find out what an assault rifle actually is considered to be in America.

Only then will you understand the difference between what the cartels are using and what you can buy legally from a US gun dealer.

  • Something that I havent seen mentioned much...

You want to take power away from the cartels?

    DECRIMINALIZE DRUGS, LEGALIZE MARIJUANA

end of story, that would flush their billion dollar industry down the shitter.

But noooooooo, we wont do that. There is too much profit in the 'War on Drugs'. Too much political capital to be used in the name of 'safety'.

  • u are so paranoid bc u are afraid that somebody is gonna take your guns that is why you don't want to link Mexico's violence to the gun shows. Don't worry, no one is going to take your guns away. But unfortunately, gun laws in the U.S. need to be better enforced to prevent them form getting into the hands of criminals. If they can get into the hands of Cartel gunmen, they can get into the hands of terrorists. And that is why i think that guns should not be allowed to leave the country.

  • close the boarder and solve 90% of the problem right there. Then adhere to the immigration policies that are in place.Make working in the US as an illegal alien impossible.

After that the US will need to clean up itself and Mexico can clean itself.

END OF STORY AND PROBLEM SOLVED

  • Want to solve all of the issues plaguing Mexico? Institute land reform, stop subsidizing American Industrial farms for growing corn and finally, STRONGLY encourage Mexico to allow Unionization in it's factories. Oh yeah, end the idiotic drug wars in the U S and dry up the loot for the drug cartels.

  • CIA wants the monopole of drugs introduction to the US market ...those Mexican cartels are starting to piss the CIA off

  • pathetic, the CIA doesn't even operate in the U.S. it is forbidden by law to do so. Only externally. Only the FBI has the jurisdiction in the U.S. to work on intelligence, organized crime, counter espionage and terrorism. + There are plenty of other U.S. intelligence agencies who are as capable or even more capable than the CIA. on issues of internal security.

  • ROFL

National security risk to the US, bullshit.

  • the problem has both sides..... non of the past mexican governments fought against drug cartels, Calderon administration is the 1st one that truly fight them.... in the other hand NON US administration has everrr supported war on drugs in mexico... and Obama´s government has not make any true statement about the subject

even tho the problem is big and there are a lot of killings, the WHOLE Mexico is NOT as violent as media shows... some parts are war zone as Juarez, but others are calm

  • ex DEA agent hutchison has been proved to be using totally false information-there is one small study that shows pot smoking has gone down in a certain age group so he cooks these numbers and says all drug use is reducing...this is totally untrue-legalization is the only answer- countries that have decriminalized drugs show to reduce use across the board-too many rich whites make money from drug sales, smuggling, prison systems, law enforcement that do not want their drug business interrupted

  • lol

the drug trade birngs trulions to the us

balck buget run by mj12 anc nsa to fianace

    the secret space projects

  • These people are too biased and particular to talk about this. One guy represents the cabinet of the president, other talks for the little police organisation for one American city. They are not the players!

  • Weapons from the US?

    WTF!!!!!

Machine guns and grenades? Please show me where someone can just walk in and buy Machine guns and grenades in the US.

    Total bullshit.

  • Gun shows in the States close to the border. U would be surprised by how easy they are to get hold. No registrations, no papers, just pay and take. In some cases a single person can order hundreds of assault rifles. But large quantities are a little more complicated bc new laws have come in which require people buying more than a certain # need to register. The problem is that we need to enforce our gun laws better. + they also buy the guns with our money, the money we pay 4 drugs.

  • madrid23 :

    That is absolutely false!

I'll admit that the guns may come from US, but the gun show story is a lie.

I beg you to PELASE POST A LINK to some kind of evidence that gun shows in the USA which are accessible to the general public, and dealers are selling MACHINE GUNS AND EXPLOSIVES to anyone who will pay.

And Im talking about real machine guns, not semi-auto copies.

  • CNN did a report about this a couple of weeks ago. It covered this issue quite well. Cartels pay Americans to buy weapons at gun shows in the states close to the border and smuggle them across the border. And since our border patrol doesn't really care about what leaves the country, only what comes in. These guns make it into the hands of the drug Cartels easily. If u want u can research it on their website. Anderson Cooper dedicated some good 10 min of his show to this.

  • madrid23 :

Again, please show us the law that says that it is legal for Americans to buy/sell grenades and RPGs at gun shows.

Really, Im waiting for your reply.

  • wow, wow. U r getting carried away. We are talking automatic assault weapons. Like AKs and M4s. The next thing u r gonna start putting tanks and helicopters into this conversation. Legally, the difference between an automatic and a semi automatic is that a semi auto only has 10 to 12 rounds in its magazines and an auto has 30 or more. Not how many rounds u can shoot every time u press the trigger. These weapons are making it through the border on large scales

  • madrid23:

You really have no idea what you are talking about, simply parroting something you heard in the mainstream press.

Let me set you straight on the definitions of full & semi automatic...

FA = pull trigger and hold fires until empty, regardless of how many rounds it can hold

SA= pull trigger one time, one round is fired.

My fear is that this LIE will be used to restrict Americans who ARE NOT DRUG DEALERS, from buying guns... as is our 2nd Amendment right.

  • believe it or not i am a gun owner my friend and u are the one who seems to have no clue on events and politics that are taking place in Mexico or here cross the border. Everyone knows the difference between a FA and a SA. I was talking about assault rifles which are not allowed to be sold to the public in the U.S. "So the Mexican military and police sell their weapons to the Cartels" ah That is why Cartel gunmen seem to be better armed than the Mexican police and law enforcement.

  • Really because I recall you saying, "Legally, the difference between an automatic and a semi automatic is that a semi auto only has 10 to 12 rounds in its magazines and an auto has 30 or more. Not how many rounds u can shoot every time u press the trigger."

Sounds like you dont know the first thing about operating a firearm

ATF considers a gun an 'assault weapon" if it has certain characteristics such as a pistol grip, detatchable magazine, flash hider, folding stock, etc. Go read something

  • I was talking about automatic assault rifles. For which there is a moratorium on their sale right now. And yes, one of the characteristics of an assault rifle is of how many rounds a magazine can take. Don't try to talk away from your main argument that guns sold at U.S. gun shows were not making their ways into Cartel gunmen hands. I, together many testimonies of both the Mexican and the American law enforcements have stated the opposite.

  • madrid23:

I stand by my main argument. I want to see an example. Show me the proof. Not what somebody says, I want to know what kind of gun, which gunshow, and which dealer.

You give me that information and I will eat my hat.

Federal law doesnt care about ammo capacity in its definition of am assault rifle. Round capacity has been added to some bills, but the ATF states that ANY detatchable mag is a feature of an assault rifle. Go read the law, then open your mouth.

  • your problem is that u want 2 neglect the responsibility of those who own guns or manufacture them. Drug Cartels, Farc, Abu Saief, Tamil Tigers, Paramilitary forces in Colombia, + many more, own and operate American made weapons. Companies that make these weapons & the people that sell them need 2 be held accountable 4 their guns falling into the hands of terrorists, drug dealers and criminals. Instead, u want to live in denial. Boy, start reading the all newspaper not just the sport section.

  • madrid23:

    Once again showing your ignorance...

Yes, these people are using weapons made by American companies just as they are using arms from China, France, Germany, Russia, etc.

But the American made guns are not being sold to them by US retail dealers.

  • @shibbershabber So then where are they getting them from? One of the most liberal states, as far as gun control, borders a huge chunk of Mexico. You really think they're going to go to Europe or China to buy weapons when a loose gun law state like Texas is around the corner?

  • LMAO !!! true guru here LOL yeah u nailed it in explaining what an fully automatic and semiautomatic is ROFL HAHAHAHAHAH

  • the fact is assault weapons are making it through the border. And yes people (Americans representing the Cartels) at these gun shows buy them in large quantities and send them. On CNN i saw the Mexican authorities complaining about one specific hand gun called (cop killer) which has the same power as a rifle and whose rounds can go through bullet proof vests. They argued that these guns had killed a lot of cops and was the favorite for cartel gunmen. All of them were traced to U.S. guns shows

  • madrid23:

Traced to American gun shows? Problem solved, if you can trace it all the way back to the dealer that sold them, arrest him and thats it.

Im afraid its not that simple.

You want a better idea of how real machine guns and explosives make it into Mexico...

I have one word for you: CHIAPAS

  • "Traced to American gun shows? Problem solved, if you can trace it all the way back to the dealer that sold them, arrest him and thats it." Of course thats what the Mexicans are asking us to do. That is what our law enforcement should be doing. But there is a lack of coordination between our two law enforcements. Didn't u hear the Former secretary of drug enforcement. We need to enforce our laws better.

  • like I said. i am gun owner myself. But i don't have a gun because I think its pretty or i like to shoot something to make myself feel better. I have a gun for the self protection of my family and my property. Truly I wish I didn't have to have it. Anyways, Our original 2nd amendment was made to allow "we the people" to overthrow our Gov in case of tyranny. Back then the Gov had muskets, today the Gov has got F-15, F-16, F-22s and aircraft carriers.

  • on regards to Machine guns and explosives. My good friend the gun traffic industry is the second largest in the world next to oil and we are in the thick of it all. Ask the companies that make these weapons, how do their weapons make it into the hands of the Cartels. Most of them will tell u that these guns are bought legally by Americans and sold to Cartel representatives here in the U.S. who smuggle them across the border. If they can get the drugs in, why shouldn't they get the guns out?

  • madrid23 :

Please show me where Americans can LEGALLY BUY MACHINE GUNS AND EXPLOSIVES!

Those Items are ILLEGAL for Americans to buy!

Some FA pieces are available but require extensive paperwork, background checks, special taxes and registration... also, the legally transferable FA guns are extremely expensive, easily reaching several thousand dollars.

Your argument is WRONG, Mexican gangs aren't getting machine guns from US retailers...

  • it doesn't matter weather its civilians or not who are sending machine guns and explosives through the border. The fact is those machine guns and explosives are being produced here by American gun companies and are ending up at the hands of Cartel gunmen. The Mexican authorities are tracing them back to the U.S. The U.S. law enforcement institutions admit that these weapons are coming from the U.S. what is your problem? U still don't believe it. Why don't u go to Mexico and see it for yourself?

  • madrid23 :

Better yet hotshot, what do you think of this...

I'd agree that a major portion of these American weapons are making their way to the cartels by way of the Mexican military & law enforcement, both of which are extremely corrupt. And not to mention that they are all armed by the American gov't.

Thats where your American weapons are coming from, slipping through the cracks of a corrupt system, but the Mexicans would never admit that on CNN.

  • Al Jazeera English reported about the cross-border gun problem a year-and-a-half before Anderson and CNN woke up. Check out Rob Reynolds' report from November 2007. Just search Rob Reynolds Mexico Guns

  • U.S., Eastern European, Chinese machine guns, assault rifles and grenade launchers, are found not only in Mexico, but all across Latin America, African hot spots and Asia. U want to know how they end up in these places, ask our gun companies and politicians. Most of these are made for military purposes, but end up at the hands of 3rd and 4th parties. The weapons' trade is the 2nd largest in the world. Everyone knows where the weapons end up but no one wants to discuss how.

  • madrid23:

American made weapons meant for military use is a far cry from semi-autonmatic AR15s & AKs sold on the civilian market. And these semi-auto guns are NOT the ones flooding into Mexico.

You've already shown that you KNOW NOTHING ABOUT GUNS, and you know nothing other than what you are told on CNN.

Sure, American guns make it to Mexico, but they are not the same kinds of guns that are available at CIVILIAN GUN SHOWS.

  • of course I information get from the main media. Where do u get your information from? Word of mouth! My goodness, you can even buy a 50 .Cal rifle at a gun show. Why do u think would be so hard for Cartels to get their rifles from the U.S. Did u even watch this video which u are commenting on. The fact that these weapons are coming from the U.S. was stated here in front of the former director of the U.S. drug enforcement agency and did he deny it? No, he agreed with it.

  • shibbershabber:

Not only are the Drug Cartels using American made weapons but so are the FARC + various paramilitary groups around Latin America, Abu Saif in the Philipines and other Islamic Groups in the Asia. Now I am not saying that all these weapons come form U.S. civilian gun shows, but a lot of them do. Many of them come from U.S. gun companies gun shows over seas. Watch the documentary "Running Guns" narrated by Kiefer Sutherland. Instead of getting your info form word of mouth.

  • 80% of weapons used by the cartels are from the usa. p90's ,Barrett M82 .50 Caliber 12.7×99mm NATO sniper rifle made in the usa. m-16's all these guns at one point or another started in th us and then where smuggled into mexico.

  • the last time violence ended a war was WWII, since then more guns and violence have solved nothing: (Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, and the drug war in Columbia, Mexico, et al) The arms manufacturers have been the only winners, everyone else has suffered--it has cost the lives of millions of innocent men, women and children--and corrupted politicians throughout the world.

  • Let me get this straight. American people are so highly addicted to drugs that their addiction has resulted in to a hundred thousand man army of determined drug dealers accross the border?
